No, i think the ending was right, it really made my heart warm. Such a wonderful ending. Its a must read. Even though this is typical shoujo-like..I found it really funny/romantic/cute =)

I'm sorry for being the one spoiling the fun of other commenters, but I honestly found it quite misleading and I ended up despising this manga, In my belief it is quite overrated, not because it was the stereotypical shoujo manga in general, but because of Hikaru, the stereotypical crying shoujo idiot protagonist. It was obvious from the beginning with whom she would end up with (which gave me a feeling of mercy and it ended up with a 2 instead of a 1).

Besides, there were a couple of moments where I thought "How did she end up there again all of a sudden?" or "This manga is full of pro ninjas, they always get to the places they must be to over hear or see the critical stuff". Awful.

There are way better shoujo manga out there waiting to be read than this one.

despite every cliche thrown in, despite the fact that it had the kind of artwork i dislike the most (kinda childish, awkward, non-standing out, overly blushing characters), despite everything else, i still managed to like this?? i don't get it XD

despite it all, i actually liked it. didn't think i would at all, in fact the first few volumes i was laughing at it and wondering if i could suffer through and read it all. but i did! and i liked the themes and the story, no matter how cliched. it's all about your first love, first heartbreak, and how you deal with love. very love-romance-cheese-ified. lol. but that sort of story is good every once in a while, i guess. and i really liked how the ending tied in with a part in the beginning. did anyone else catch that.. ? (when she was on the train, and she muttered.. names.. both in the end and beginning) ha.

kind of bitter-sweet. reaaaally cliched. but maybe there's a reason why cliches are so popular? i mean people need to like them if authors want to use the situation so much. x33 time skips were cleverly placed in the right spots to help the story along. and the extra at the end was cute, it kind of gave an absolute conclusion. i haven't read manga with a complete conclusion like that in a while~!

but yeah, so give it a try. you might find yourself kinda liking it.

[edit by mod, Warning: Possible spoilers]
Art is great, smut is great, character development is great, ending is great and plot is good. The reason I say good and not great is because it was predictable. You can't help but feel that you have seen this plot in some american movie somewhere.
Spoiler (highlight to view)
Also, I cannot forgive the plot twist that the mangaka used in order to separate Takara and Hikaru, it was way to simple maybe something more complex would have been believable.
Anyways I highly recommend this manga to anybody be it man or woman.

Boy was this one tough....of course like many people i like Arata the best because he met her first and was willing to sacrifice himself just to see her smile...mind you am not a fan of Takara but what happened with the childhood friend really almost made me cry and then quite angry, which turned to hate. Although the main girl is a bit clumsy and very emotional it was nice to see her change and mature when "the incident" happened, i like a strong character in a girl heroine. I had to finish the last two volumes in raw just to know what will happen in the end and am glad about the ending, i cannot wait until it's all in english.

Same-old cliches, but enjoyable

It's not the best but it does have it's good parts, mostly because of the ending.
Starts pretty rushed tbh, and some parts just make you go wtf?? Hikaru is just like most shoujo manga protagonists: weak, dumb, cry baby and annoying urgh. She just goes around misunderstanding everything, most of the drama in this manga is because she just overly think things e_e
And Takara is like that average same-old shoujo manga prince: handsome, cool, strong and a gentleman (in Hikaru's eyes anyway), but honestly he is quite boring orz He doesn't have any actual character development >_>
Arata, on the other hand, starts super annoying and a total womanizer, but as the story progresses, he starts to change. The only character in this goddamn manga that I actually liked.

Also, Arata is SO CUTE as a Tsundere <3

Although, why would someone as good as Arata fall for Hikaru is beyong me but oh well.
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
The good and interesting parts starts at chapter 23 with Ami's car accident, Hikaru and Takara's break up and finally some romance for Arata

Now, what I liked about this manga is that the main protagonist ends up with someone that loves her for real and not in a selfish way.
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
It was beautiful to see Arata changing himself for Hikaru, and just wishing for her happiness even if that meant she wouldn't be with him

The ending was beautiful and it made me cry a bit ;; Although I wanted to punch Hikaru for being so dumb and indecisive.
So... Basically the only reason that I enjoyed this and read it until the end: Arata. u_u

This manga was cute. I've read better and it was pretty predictable, but it was still really cute. A little bit ridiculous at times, but every drama love story has something unbelievable in it so I guess it's okay. Read this if you have nothing else to read.

I enjoyed this manga, will definitely recommend. It's better than a lot of shoujo out there, although it probably has a lot of cliches as others have pointed out. Unlike some commenters though, I did not find the chibi drawings that bad...IMO it's a trivial aspect of the manga anyway.

While I was satisfied with the ending in general (sigh....I'm a sucker for happy endings), I found the twist, where
Spoiler (highlight to view)
Takara breaks up with Hikaru, extremely lame. It felt like a cop out, as if the writer had written herself into a corner (which I think she did) and pulled an asspull to give Arata his opportunity. It portrayed Takara to be a jerk. Not that I wasn't happy, I rooted for Arata from the very start (Takara is perfect. In every. Single. Way. Boring. I was disappointed at first because I actually thought that Takara was the official ship...yay that he wasn't), but the reason Takara broke up exceeded my tolerance for incredibly weird/nonsensical/unrealistic reasons. Yes Takara, because it makes so much sense to try to love someone simply because they saved you even though you would end up hurting her MORE by not sincerely loving her. I felt a bit satisfied when he got owned by her near the end ("no, YOU got rejected..muahahaha...okay I'm exaggerating).

Even though that part of the manga was terrible, it's still a good read. Interesting setup (hmm...maybe I just haven't come across many twin brother love triangles) and interesting story. Love the ending...sigh I'm a sucker for happy endings.

This is the best manga that i have read until today. it's cute and there are so many unpredictable things that keep happening. I was really happy that she ended up with Arata i supported him from the beginning. It even made me cry for some stupid reason.
But this is totally the best manga ever.
