The premise is very basic, however Kitazaki works on what he is simply best known for, he creates an "awkward" situation that's completely impossible in real life, adds sex as an story telling tool and push their characters through a maturity phase were they need to shape up and learn from life if they are going to receive a happy ending.
This time around the true "theme" that Kitazaki is after is honest feelings, the main problem with the main character is that he has trouble reaching a "true" "deep" loving relationship, however we have that not being able to have a true meaningful relationship does not result in him not having some superficial relationships; in fact he is dragged through several of them; all of this while indirectly waiting for his happiness. He quickly realize that he "can't wait" for happiness, he has to work towards it, he also realizes that he shouldn't get dragged around that much, but for comedy purposes that happens all the time anyway.

If you aren't bothered by the small feeling of detachment that the main character oozes at first, and aren't bothered by sex here and there; and you don't mind the story being told in a lighthearted comical manner, then this one will score decently on your book.

I like how screwed up this story is. If you read stuff by Kitazaki Taku, you're in for something frustrating, but definitely interesting. So many twists and turns, manipulative characters and whatnot. I'm usually not really into that, but with this mangaka, usually all the characters are in essence good-natured, just kind of corrupted by desires, jealousy, etc, like a lot of people are, hahaha

Out of all the romance series Ive read, Mostly ones aimed for males, I love the Theme of Honest Love, and it Really touch me so much this manga.

I really want to read volume 6-9 so badly!

The series has sex in it but its not for jerking but to progress the plot, like this authors other great works.

another kitazaki's manga being scanlated: yay!!
yep, the premise is always basic. kitazaki only need to introduce one (i repeat, only one!) weird thing and play his casts around it as natural and rational as possible. by natural and rational, i mean those reactions and turn of events are logical, not superficial, and that's what's entertaining. i'm a big fan of cupid itazura II, since its the manga which had been scanlated fairly far. and i'm so looking forward to this one.

The manga actually has a pretty nice plot and alot of interesting characters. However at times it might be annoying due to the fact that there are hints of NTR all over the place especially by the late chapters. Don't be turned off by this though since this manga is not NTR-orientated and if it ever get fully translated in English you will know at the end everything is all good.

You will be pissed at some point but fear not the story gets better later on. There are quite alot of twists in this manga and even at the end it was a big surprise. It was totally worth reading all the chapters no regret

+Beautiful range of facial expressions (reminds me of the ultra detailed facial art of Prison School)

Cons
-Not fully translated, missing chapters 105-154 in english, ending is Ch 155
-Ending is controversial/personally unfulfilling
-Author tends to recycle certain themes and character models from prior series (suicidal thoughts, villains that obfuscate themselves as upstanding people and are psychos, blonde gunho business tycoon character archetype similarities to prior series, etc)

I really loved the story and was truly backing the love of chizuru and rin but i hated the ending the author should have come up with a better ending even if chizuru got mentally ill she can be treated with a doctor it would have been a better end if she would have been treated by doctor and then they would have lived happily after....but what can i do but cry dispite the true love between rin and chizuru they are not living a true love life where chizuru will be under the stigma control till she dies really i hated the end

I admit I read it mainly because of the "harem" tag. But I'm still a bit of a sucker for a pure romance. However, I am extremely confuse as to the direction at which this manga is going. The main character is indecisive and has almost no backbone while the woman he loves continuously leads him on. The manga itself is a decent read, I suppose. There's some sex and comedy here and there, but nothing over-the-top to make it hentai or make you drop dead laughing.

It's have a good plot, but I don't know why it too excessive. I felt really gonna puke watching the character react.
But it's a good react, as long as you not take it seriously. But I would not care about love if I got the S mark
