Lark is different from the rest of the kids. He has red eyes, just like Vampires do, and he is bullied by the other kids for it. One day he meets Setz, a genuine Vampire of a Noble clan who is the only one that doesn't call him a monster or bully him. Eventually they become friends, but when Lark finds out he may have to return to the orphanage, Setz decides he does not want to lose his friend, so he invites him to his home... In Naver (which where I read most of my webtoons), there are 3 main catagories: 1) 도전 만화 Challenge Manhwa; 2) 베스토 도전 Best Challenge; 3) 웹툰 Webtoon
1) Challenge Manhwa is for anybody. Anyone from any skill can post their webtoons up here. Most of the people are just people doing this for fun. Some are very serious about this and are amateurs with very good skill. After a while, if a Challege manhwa webtoon starts to gain popularity, it moves up to Best Challenge.
2) Best Challenge is the cream of the crop of the Challenge Manhwa webtoons. These people have been selected by Naver and promoted depending on their populairty and quality of their webtoons. If a Best Challenge webtoon has been extremely popular and has great quality, Naver will promote them to Webtoon.
3) Webtoon is the best of the best. This is where they are actually paid. They become full-time professional webtoon artists and they are paid for their work. The more popular webtoons are paid more. When a best challenge webtoon moves up to this catagorey, they have to start all over. To improve the quality of the webtoon, all the artists are required to revise their work.
-This is the basic pattern amateur artists have to go through, but if the artist is a professional or has already been published as a webtoon artist, they may be excluded from this process.
Some series that made it from challenge manhwa to the webtoon page: Pink Lady, Cheese in the Trap, Song of the Cloud, Noblesse, etc.
Some series that do not have to go through this process:Annarasumanara's author is a professional artist and has had one of his series on Naver webtoon's before. Thus, he does not have to prove his skills again.
Nineteen, Twenty-one's author and artist made it all the way to webtoons with Pet Diary a few years ago. So, they do not have to go through the whole process.
Botox's Hwang Mi Ri is a very famous professional manhwa artist. She's considered one of the most legendary of Korean shoujo manhwas (one of the earliest Korea shoujo artists to get published in Japan), and so she does not have to go through the whole process.
Depending on star ranking and hits, the pay for the author's differ. So, to show your support for your favorite series, please visit the webtoon page of the series and increase their hit number!"

I read the original (scanlated in English) and I was surprised to see this series start over again, ntil I found the explaination up above. There was some romance in the original, but it was EXTREMELY subtle (the point where I was at, which was ch. 21)
I am anxious for future releases and I hope the author and artist goo luck

This was one of my favourites. Cute art, nice characters, new twist on an old theme of a boy without special powers surrounded by supernatural beings. The enjoyment lies very much in the atmosphere, revelation of the fantasy world and the development of relationships.
What starts off as refreshing and interesting slows down, however, and later chapters don't really keep the momentum going. Worth reading and a fun fantasy to pass the time.

After reading Noblesse and The tower of god, I changed my opinion about manhwa in general and thought about reading this on as well. I've read till chapter 81 so far and my opinion is that this story is totally different, it's very disappointing. It's more of a slice of life in a parallel universe kind of story. There are no intense fights. Far too many secrets, misunderstandings, unfinished conversations. You just read pages after pages and nothing progresses. If you have absolutely nothing else to do, read this manhwa to kill you time.
it's a pretty engaging story until you get to the recent chapter.... then while waiting for an update you'll probably lose interest in it like I did.

i thought the chapters were short because before i knew it, i had already finished reading the chapter!!
i actually thought that was going to be some shounen ai but i doubt it is so i'm really intrigued to see how romance is going to show through.
i'm loving the main character. it's more refreshing compared to other main characters i've read but it's a good plot so far! i just have loads of questions about what's going to happen and i want them answer soon! x)

Seems to be pretty good so far, but I don't understand why its in the romance category just yet. But who knows maybe it'll be a pleasant surprise. However I hope ever so much that the plot doesn't take a retarded twist into some sort of stupid phenomenon like lets say for example that the kid is super amazing and is the one who will blah blah blah.

Chapter 92 - As Navaras returned after from the council and heard about Angela's disappearance. He also realised that Sylvia was all behind this. He ordered for an attorize test of choosing student of diffrent ability in 1st grade. As Nergel returning from council, he stopped his carraige after seeing Bathory. Bathory told him that Angela was disappeared here where they were standing. As Lark was crying silently in his dream, angela's sister appeared again and tell him about angela's death and not to cry. Lark asked her constantly about who killed his nuna but she rejected. Just then a shadow appeared whom lark has seen before in his dream, give a death blow to Camrilla's shadow. He told lark that he will help him by granting to give power to lark.
Chapter 93 - Lark gets confused about the person words who appeared before him and asked him who are you? He then tell lark that in the begenning there are two person who reign over the vampire race : one is camrilla and the other was he and the both of them have their own followers. But they disappeared after shap shifting the world of Crepuscule. At that time on the other part Nergel forced Bathory that what had happened with as bathory is succubus she might know about angela's disappearance. Here in the other part lark shouted towards the person and told him not to speak nonsense as a human how can he gain power for him he only know about his nuna's death. Then the person told that for lark's revenge he will grant him the power of the strongest pure blood vampire. After that his surrounding atmosphere become hazy and he saw a thick black darkness at Angela's back.

At the school council of student Setz tells everyone there that new student are requited as members of council from the school. Then Neal commented on that and seren's sister appeared as new member. As seren going to class with his friend she ran into lark. She wished him good morning and not to feel sad about Angela's incident. But Lark that he is not a child who would be in sorrow forever and past seren away with a serious face. As they passed along very dark energy in emitting from lark's back.

Not that good. I read this when I am so bored and have don't want to reread anything else.
If you skip several "chapters" (as in 40 or so) it won't be a big bother since the plot moves rather slowly.
To be honest, I liked the first original one better with the other artist.

Maybe becaue it's a webcomic, but sometimes, there are only two panels in one page, and so, 30 pages only covers so much. That's probably what irks me most in a webcomic, and especially in this story. The story is progressing kind of slow but what blocks the story the most is the main characters, especially Lark. He's quite apathetic and have a it's none of my business/not my problem' kind of mindset. These kind of main characters cannot progress and make any productive move. So reading to ch.49 so far, it's quite annoying how he is like that.
Honestly, if Lark doesn't change anytime soon, I'm gonna give up on this story. He's too apathetic and self-centered, thinking only of himself. Not that kind of main character I look forward to reading about.
