Partial spoiler, but the general premise here is that instead of hard drugs invading a poor innocent school, magic dice became the new heroin and all the cool kids are doing it. Interesting premise since these dice gamify the world in a believable sci-fi/fantasy sort of way as well as adding in morality dilemmas on top of it.

A big downside for me is how lazy the author is developing the story. Doesn't seem to have enough energy at establishing more unique character perspectives with these bizarre situations. A good example is the generalizing of "the mob" from the author and their actions during school wide events. Granted many would succumb to desires that would eventually ignore their already established morals, but not too many, heck maybe only a few. Many would probably just go for dice in moderation. But what would I know? I never took cocaine and I'm sure a few good who did, eventually did bad to acquire more, but not freakin most everyone.. right?

Probably nitpicking too hard but I had a hard time getting absorbed into this manhwa. Maybe it's because it's not going too hard into the game stats like The Gamer allowing the author to pull shit out of his butt to make the plot work at times. I understand he doesn't want to get tided down with the nuisance, but he keeps briefly showing these stupid radar chart character stats occasionally yet not frequent enough that we as readers still can't establish power levels between characters to any reasonable degree. Yes, I know this shouldn't be the focus of this manhwa, but as more chapters pile on, the more this becomes a battle shounen and the more this becomes a pressing issue.

EDIT: After reading up to chapter 186, my opinion has changed a bit. After you forgo stats and just embrace the vagueness of strength in this manhwa, it's much easier to move on and just see your fighters in simple letter grade ranks (B, A, S). This story's focus is less of fighting anyways and more of drama as it goes on. It all has to do with how characters handle these magic drugs in their lives. A large overarching theme is the question of what is the root problem, these drugs or the drug dealer?

It's an excellent story! It's a critical view of how people in today's society think, very individualistic, very self-absorbed. But more than that, every time you think the story is gonna go one way...bum! it surprises you with a new twist. The latest arch (ch98 and on) is quite long, but the action scenes are very well drawn.
Ah! one more thing, the female lead might seem annoying, but she has a background story that hasn't been revealed yet. She could end up being as dangerous as the hoodie guy because she doesn't want to change herself, she wants to change something beyond herself.

ajaykumaryadav review is pretty dumb, either he read only the first few chapters or his abilities of understanding the plot are ridiculously low. In fact, the comic is about how ridiculous influential those standards like beauty are and how easily they can manipulate life around you. Also, is about how greedy and shity society can be (maybe too much, as there only a couple of characters who have a good(not too shitty) personality in the whole wc).
Fun read, and the music in some chapters gave a relly nice feeling to them hehe (it was a new thing to me)

The user ajaykumaryadav is too biased and has too much emotion towards the subject of physical appearance to give this manga a fair review. What he said made no sense at all and is completely missing what the author is trying to convey.

That being said I personally love DICE. It has a perfect mix of action, drama, and a hint of romance. Many people can relate to the subject of genuinely wanting to change yourself, but the real question is would you put your OWN needs over someone else's? Would you harm them for your own greed? That is what this manga is about, the greed and self anger of humanity, and the struggle for power. How humans really act with such high amounts of power, it shows the real world no matter how dark and selfish it may be.

In my opinion this story along with its amazing artwork deserves a 10. You feel the action yourself when you're reading it and if you read it off the authors website it even comes with an original soundtrack played for certain chapters.

Guess what our author only like good looking people/strong people and that why the manga is based on that.....

Recently the amount of good webtoons is increasing and this one I`ll recommend to everyone. There is plot, there are supernatural abilities, there is character development, there is action and the story just keeps getting better. Though I found the pure female lead a bit annoying in the beginning but in recent chapters, it is hinted that she has some darkness too, so that makes up for the pure act. Seriously though a very good one.

Idea's awesome, execution not so much. The romance... Duh... Plot... Duh...
It lacks a flow and has a faint smell of tuna around it... It tries to be dramatic, but it feels forced.
I picked it up as a random time filler and it does it's part, but so much unfulfilled expectations that I can't help to feel grumpy when writing this.
Drawings are nice, I guess.
Giving this a 9 just because I feel like a 'nice guy' (TM), and well, it does help me pass the time.

I tend to loose interest with shounen-like setups like this, but this one managed to keep my interest.
someone said the female "lead" was a "mary sue" and that she was 1D
not gonna argue about why every char must be an nD just for the sake of being not uni-D, even if the story didn't need that
but I think there is a reason to that, the female char is mostly portrayed throught the MC eyes, so thats just one aspect of her that is shown, the last chaps showed that she has another more darker secrets/aspect hidden

Don't get me wrong the story is very entertaining. But the female lead (that we can totally do without) is the worst case of shounen mary sue ever. Here's to hoping that she gets killed off for being too perfect and too pure. I can even imagine Kana Hanazawa voice acting her in anime, that's how much of a boring and stock character she is.

There's a reason why tsundere female leads always get the guy in shounen, that's because everyone hates the boring pure one. I seriously hope this girl changes, I doubt she will though, another Orihime incoming.

I've always love the manga with new set of storyline. This is the one and the male lead is soooo likable (I mean both his personality and his look). the wonderful character development is here! even if it's not a cliffhanger but u can say that this is so addicting! I bet this will become 2nd tower of god. THEY'RE BOTH SO GREAT AND UNIQUE.
