I completely agree with what kiari7!!! said. This manga is so RANDOM in a very negative way. I wonder what the mangaka has been thinking while writing the plot... It's so ridiculously fast-paced and often just jump from one place to another. Oh, and did I say that it was fast-paced?

I've read Vampire Knight, and yeah, it's not really that original, but even then I can't help but think that this mangaka has read Vampire Knight and just taken down notes on stuff she liked, and then just put it together again in a slightly different (incoherent) pattern.
(Note: It's not that I hate when a manga isn't completely original, but this is just a failure at trying to use an overused plot, which is quite the achievement)

But really, this is bad. The ONLY reason I kept on reading was because the art was fairly neat. That put aside, this is a waste of time.

The art is lovely.. clean-cut, sharp, no funny angles. The characters - Aki, is handsomely drawn and Cana is a lovely female character, although in terms of character she is a half-full shell that needs more improvement (hopefully with later chapters?).

The story plot is kind of holey - although there is the childhood reference, we don't know much about what happened in-between - what happened to Aki and Eriya after the fire and why did they only find her now?

Later when Aki turned Cana into a blood servant, the plot just gets weirder. It seems that Cana does not even give the slightest objection when that happens, and when Aki expresses his love (in a roundabout way) she just happens to not notice. Really?

Some parts really don't make sense at all in this story - but hopefully it'll get better. a manga with THAT good art can't go too bad.. hopefully. fingers crossed

I only got through the first volume. Granted the art is pretty, and I am a Shouoto fan - but the content was too awkwardly sexual. I realize almost all Vampire stories are sexualized, but there are subtle and romantic ways to go about it (Millennium Snow, Vampire Knight, etc), but this one just shoves it in your face with a super grabby possessive guy and a slightly clueless girl. Not my thing.

This story doesnt make sense. The art is gorgeous, but the plot is incomprehensible, and the reactions of the characters DO NOT make sense. It was really unbearable. The characters never justify their actions, and things just happen. The only reason I rated it 4 is the art, one of the most beautiful I've ever seen.

It has the expected beautiful art, Shouoto Aya of course reusing her usual formulaic models of bishounen, and the potentially-wonderful-yet-wasted inconsistent storyline; there are just too many plot twists that don't mesh well together.

Listen, I loved reading this series so much that I was willing to purchase it since only four volumes are available online. But at $9.99 - $13.99 for one volume (that's like 4 to 6 chapters) and there is 10 volumes, there is no way in he!! I would purchase this series. I can find any novel with 300+ pages and 30+ chapters for $2.99 and it'd be a great book. Not that I'm saying that this manga should be that low of a cost, but I refuse to pay $100.00 to see how the remainder of this series ends. Maybe I'll get lucky and it'll show up in some local library. Otherwise, there seriously needs to be a rational standard of prices on these books. Even the magazines from there are expensive. I can't see the high cost when you now can electronically send the publisher here a copy to print. That's also way e-books was created to cut out the expense of publishing the actual books.

Anyway, enough of my ranting.

I actually hate it. I mean, I like vampires as much as the next guy but this was horrible. First everybodys actions and expressions about what was going was very unbelievable!! and unrealistic. I mean, the main girl just seemed to nonchalant. The plot was very fast pasted and overused. Also the main characters are boring,a complete snore fest. I forced my self to read a few chapters but after the first four chaps, I dropped it. Dont waste your time!!

P.s the art is great!!

The female lead has short hair, that's always hot. The male lead is a vampire. Also cool. But then the werewolf becomes a sidekick? Dude, why'd you have to go ruin it? I hate werewolf/vampire/human stories.

Also, the art may be pretty but the "story" is super flat and uninspiring.
