Description
Takahata Shun's day at high school begins just as normal and boring as ever, but it doesn't end that way. After his teacher's head explodes, he and his classmates find themselves forced to play children's games, such as Daruma ga Koronda (a game like Red Light/Green Light), with deadly stakes. With no idea who is behind this mysterious deadly game session, and no way of knowing when it will finally end, the only thing Shun and other students can do is keep trying to win...

There's gore, perverted stuff, and warped personalities.... but, somehow the plot is good enough that I managed to finish until the end....
now I'm even reading the sequel. LOL (part of it being that I got too attached to the two main guys in the series.... The weird athletic dude and the narrator)

Captivating, intense, and mindbreaking. This survival horror is truely unique and one of its kind. This is probably the "truest" survival ones ever where fake teamwork and luck doesn't happen unlike *cough*Cage of Eden*cough*. Basically, this manga gives me the feel that if I was in the same situation as the main, I would be dead round 0.

Kamisama no Iutoori is one of the few Shonen titles out there that is actually good and stand out among other Shonen titles. But the real surprise is the category itself (and not to mention the blood and gore that comes along with it).
Rather than the standard Shonen cliches or plot, this manga literally kicks off with a WTF moment, and from there, things becomes both bizarre and outright deranged, especially with the puzzles and the solution.
For those out there who wants something different, especially in the Shonen category, this is one title that is worth the read.

It's a total rip off of that manga written by that antagonist in Bakuman but that was exactly what I was looking for. When this series first came out it was like a wish come true (apart from the whole having to wait for it to be published thing >.>)
The supernatural athletic abilities of a couple of the characters are both a con in that it detracts from the realisticness of how the survival games are beaten but also a pro because it makes Amaya's character pretty awesome.
One great thing about this series is how you can never seem to know who's going to die amongst the secondary characters. And the line between Primary and secondary characters is at times blurred.
Considering the source material though (those of you who have read that part of Bakuman will know what I'm talking about) perhaps even some of those i consider primary characters will meet their end.
