It was good, I really liked the heroine and the plot was fairly interesting. After a while though it got boring, especially with the main guy character getting angry at everything.

The artwork is clean. The plot is original, interesting, and well-paced. And it's fun to see all those makeovers and the smiles of girls' faces after they get a nice haircut. But the best part about this manga are the characters. The main guy, Narumi is cute. There are so many unflappable guys in shoujo manga- you know, calmly coming in to save the day. But this guy is euphemistically speaking, very energetic. He is the one who is usually loud, brash, and overacts. He has a temper and is very competitive. And the girl, Kiri, is the unflappable character. She is calm and doesn't seem to care about people's reactions and the things that go on around her (but you do see sometimes, that she is aware). She is very chill and laid-back. It's funny when you put her and Narumi in the same room. She is a bit like Haruhi from Ouran High School Host Club- so if you like Haruhi, definitely meet Kiri! The story isn't very lovey-dovey- so if you're looking for Narumi and Kiri to slowly realize they're meant to be with each other and start blushing at each other halfway through- read another manga.

I adore this series! There aren't many shoujo series that have shounen elements like this (a strong main character that has a special talent and develops in a certain field, competing in challenges, etc. etc.)The main character is both funny and strong (not obsessed with love OMG YAY), though there are still plenty of sweet moments throughout the series.

i like the girl.....her attitude is very calm and not caring....it's quite refreshing since i'm a little sick seeing girls who overreact when guys do sth for her....she rarely smile.....but when she does.....she looks so cute...........
if u are looking for romance......sorrie guys............ther's almost none..........very little..........it focus mostly on hair cut.........and the club..............i wish there some more romantic scene
i really like the scene of the girl showing off how talent she really is in styling........it is very intersting

i really like this story since i stared rending it i love it and like she act is soo funny and it remembers me of my best friend only a less tommboy and she can not handle her jajaj but one of the best

I think the best thing that this is such a light manga. I mean yeah there is some drama but nothing that i need to vex over. I love the characters, i love the little to no romance. (Though I'm rooting for two of the guys that like her XD; )And I think the art is pretty and cute.

Although I'm not necessarily the biggest fan of Beauty Pop, I absolutely love this manga. The plot is original, and, even though I don't think that the artwork is greatest, Koshiba is cute. She's a unique character, and I love how lazy she is. Proves how even lazy girls can be heroines of a manga, haha.

I wouldn't say that this manga is awesome because I have already read better shoujos. It has an average plot dispite of the topic since some chapters are very interesting to read but some chapters seem boring to me. However, what is first class in the manga and what I love it for, is the humor and the funny characters which are not typical at all. Kiri and her attitude towards the others is very well depicted and her "I'm not interested in anything" face and continuous absent-mindedness makes me laugh all the time.
