im looking for a romance manga where the guy and girl hook up early on in the story and it goes from there, instead of in the final few chapter.

it dosnt have to only shoujo, it can be josei or even shounen/seinen

But
they get together in volume 2. The topic creator has Lovely Complex listed as an example and they take longer.

Uhhh... Shuukatsu!! - Kimi ni Naitei - it's kinda obvious that they'll get together from the first chapter... it's a short story... 2 volumes, 10 chapters -- my absolute favorite. You can try other YOSHINO Aki works as well like Yuru Koi.
Barairo My Honey - this was a really interesting story... the mangaka had fun thinking up of how to incorporate tigers to the plot.
Guys After Marriage - oneshot. Pretty funny. I liked this one. From the title, they're obviously together. looooool.
Shoujo:
Hanatsukihime - this is kind of stretching your criteria... but they are connected to each other early on... nice short 8 chapters.
Koi, Hirari - another nice story... for some reason, I liked the first chapter a lot... maybe meeting each other for the first time with snow in the background makes your heart skip a beat.
Almost forgot: Kiss/Hug - kinda similar genre as Koukou Debut but it's still a different story.
