Well, it wasn't a smile of happiness but bitterness.

Not that I take life for granted, it's 'cos I get depressed easily and around my place, there are so many funerals(sometimes as many as 4 to 5 in a month), I get kinda down. My meds just aren't working atm. =__=
Well, even if I move out to another place, I've no control over how many funerals get allocated to a block per month. That's under the government body's jurisdiction.

My little brother's fish finally looked at me. No matter which way I turned it would always go the opposite way 
The bit of romanticism in the story my sister gave me as a birthday present also made me smile, although the protagonist ended up with an unrequited love all the same :x
