In my opinion there are 2 types of happiness. One is probably materialistic happiness, where one feels a sense of joy from goods and money, and another might be spiritual/moral happiness where one feels happiness from doing sumthing righteous or moral. I don't think one can be truly 100% happy because the two types of happiness can never exist at the same time in an equal balance of state.

When I get to top 10, how's that? This here is my life goal. Kinda sad isn't it?

We are contributing to the discussion at hand, you know....It's not Mams' or my fault no one else has anything to say.

On that note, would being in the top 10 make you happy? That sounds like an emo type of happiness to me (see above)

Alright geez....lighted up.

Right now, nothing makes me happier than getting out of school. Though I know I'll have to decided on my future and whatnot I want to fastforward through all that. What I worry most about is my future. Sometimes I feel like I'm going to grow up and become a bum because I still have no idea what I want to do. I just want fastforward to my future. Where I have a family a good job and a house. You know, the "American Dream". I know I would miss out on the "college experience" but frankly, I don't really care.

How's that?

Shooting my arms up with heroin until I no longer have unused veins, smoking an entire pack of cigarettes at once, and getting my BAC is up to .2 while having unprotected sex with at least 10 people I've never met is true happiness.

I feel sorry for anyone who has not yet experienced all of those things at once.

I could help write your thesis sentence if you wanted.

You forgot to add, "While in control of a moving vehicle."

BTW - I know people who would try that (if they haven't already). You meet the most interesting people in LA county jail.

Please, don't spam... that would make this annoyed mod happy.

And when you do so, would you please be nice enough to do it in a less conspicuous manner? Like mamsmilk and vinceasuma have done just before you? (And at least they made me lol with the potty time talk... because I can relate to that happiness lol)

Happiness comes from within. It is a self satisfaction.

This isn't one of those crappy philosophical things like "If a tree falls and no one is around, does it make a sound". When a freaking tree falls, it makes a sound, but you won't hear it because you weren't there.

Happiness is when you stop think about what you're going to do next and just live the day full of fun and chocolate.

accomplishments and success.

but in the end, living with my family is happiest. Like, after a freaking hard day at school, (today, I just got ripped off by somebody I don't even know), I had my family to complain to LOL. Also had really good mommy's Chinese soup for dinner <3

which is why I chose the closest university, so I can go home everyday.

i probably wouldn't want to go home everyday, but it really is nice to complain to your family. after all, it's only with your fmaily that you don't have to worry about what other people would say.

=(

In my life, I've only met one person who said she loves going home everyday... And when I tell others, "I love going home everyday", they are shocked LOL.

Hopefully, in the future, my children loves going home everyday.

Happ"y"ness is when a half naked catgirl shows up at my frontdoor.

But in all seriousness, i dont know what the term "Happiness" means. I mean there are tiems when im "Happy".

If i had to say somehting i'd say Happiness is somehting you feel for a short amount of time:
1. before your expectations are ruined.
2. After somehting good has happened to you in any way whatsoever that brings you any sort of joy.

true, true. What goes up must come down and that includes emotions.

But.. What goes down doesn't necessarily go up. >_>
