i want a person, no sterotypical archtypes, a real believable person. i think the most believable person so far i've seen would be Rock in Black Lagoon or kaworu in cherry.

I like my characters lazy, with a dry sense of humor. Especially if they make me laugh.

I think my favourite type of character would be the dense but cute type. For example, Tamaki from Ouran High School Host Club =) A lot people think he's annoying because he's dense and slow but I find him amusing =p
Other than that, characters with a serious and determined mind like Rock Lee =) Guys like him also have a great heart.. his love for Sakura is always admirable.

I like the funny character that are very gifted, but always have funny and unfortunate mishaps happen to them.

I second that, mostly because that's how I am. I also enjoy the well-meaning dense characters because they usually make me laugh and the supremely cute like Hunny-chan from Ouran. I also like... yangire was it? Happy characters who go psycho?

Yangire is not really happy, more like gentle and sweet characters that go psycho. Opposite of Tsundere (ugh these look like latin infinitive verbs to me...). I was thinking along the lines of Konata rather than Osaka. My favorite girl type character is the one that is kinda weak and pathetic but eventually comes out of her shell, not become psycho like yangire.

I like girls like Haruhi from Ouran High School Host Club and Kiri from Beauty Pop. Intelligent, smart-mouthed, independent, girls who don't fall all goo goo gaga over guys.
