It's not Fairy Tail either since there's been no such person up to chapter 17 of it, heck, the most recent guy in Fairy Tail is way lamer compared with this guy.

if you have any other pictures it might help a great deal. It does seem a bit like it could be korean style, the eyes especially.

My opinion on this, even though it has already been said a countless ammount of time (well it isn't countless, I just don't care to count)...
It's amateur art... The guy is just to random badass looking... and I find it actually very lacking in the "feel" part... or something like that.
EDIT: And the proportions are also very unnatural (unprofessional)
/end Edit
I don't know if you guys get what I'm trying to say...
And it's absolutly and certainly not tekken... if it was I would know. (I'm a huge Tekken -Video Game- fan)

Okay, that's a fair comment.

But the arm seems too long and muscular compared to the body. I guess there are mangaka that aren't very skilled, but the arm looks quite off with it being so far down the leg.

indeed, proportion does NOT matter in the world of manga...

thank goodness for that, and if you want to talk proportion, this one's fine. The character is angled so there's going to be some foreshortening. You don't see the whole length of the legs on this image or the knee so it's not exactly easy to judge that as length. Considering a lot of mangas have their own proportions, this isn't uncommon.

fan art or manga, either one's possible, with the amount of mangas around today, certainly wouldn't rule it out.

Reminds me of Brago from Konjiki no Gash Bell

Please, Show me where I said something about realism!?!?!
The only thing I said, was that they didn't feel natural, and by natural I explained, by using the ponctuation mark known as parenthesis, that I meant "unprofessional".
And all of you who think that proportions doesn't matter in the manga world... none
If you really noticed the only time proportions stop mattering is when they are doing a comic relief scene... and I seriously doubt that guy was designed to be funny...

stealth, it is difficult to tell if the proportions fit the character without the aid of a few more pics or a better one. My use of the word "real" was a mistype on my part. I meant to imply that proportions are different in manga and we shouldnt expect them to make sense to us all the time. With that said however, this character doesnt seem to be that off. Is it that his head is too small for his body or something? because you might not have accounted for it being tilted or something. In any case, this is pretty irrelevant...
