Wouldn't that be closer to 'Keep your friendship and fight fairly'? I interpret "do nothing" as 'you' are the only one who's aware of the situation, yet decide not to confront or confide in your friend about it, and see how things play out. I could be wrong, though.

In your scenario, you make it sound like you have no real feelings on the matter. Naturally, you stand aside if you don't really care, but that's not quite what the poll asks. I believe the poll asks what you would do in a love triangle, where your friend and you are in love.

@ KJacket: don't multipost, use the 'edit' button
why not try and fight it fairly? Waiting is just a waste of time anyway, so you can as well do your best... One should be able to get over some unrequited love and a friend should be able to be happy for his/her (best) friend...
But I guess just waiting is the way to go for people who have enough time to lose...

No offense, mangaupdate's thread style allows both 'reply' and 'quote' options. I simply use the former because it would allow readers to read all relevant replies to that post rather than scrolling through the entire thread and reading multi-quotes that they might have missed or have no clue where the parent post started from. Also handy when the discussion stemming from that post gets long, rather than one person quoting the previous again and again, taking up lots of unneeded space.
Of course in the case of forums where my reply doesn't show up right underneath the parent post, one post with the relevant quotes would be the most logical way.
By the way, I am reading this from the comments section directly in the poll (or in threaded view).
If it annoyed you sorry 'bout that.

Sit back and do nothing. I mean, even if I find someone attractive, I'm not interested in dating, and I consider myself asexual so I wouldn't wanna screw some random person either 0_0..
So yeah, if there's a guy my friend likes, I'll cheer her on ^-^.
