A friend of mine is quite into Guitar Wolf. I haven't listened to them much, but they're certainly not at all Visual Kei-ish.

You could also try Beat Crusaders and Stance Punks.

Beat Crusaders are kinda pop'ish and most of their songs are actually sung in English.

Stance Punks is more rock.
