It's the right ear. In my opinion, having a "gay" ear piercing is moronic. So with that in mind I put none.

I've heard it's the right ear for a simple reason

in the olden days men used to fight with swords and bows, and if you happen to have a earring on your right ear and you try to fire a bow you can get your ear ripped off, hence men with the right ear pierced weren't warriors and hence they were gay =P

Those aren't the piercings you have to be wary of.

But some people pull back with their left hand instead of right

In the olden days lefties were always discriminated so it's no wonder that it was like this

but then again, I'm in no way sure that this was the reason, it's just something I heard(and the only that seems to have some sort of reason)

It depends what country you're in. I say get them both pierced just to be sure
