My name is Wasif which is Persian or Arabic for 'one who describes/applauds'. Though I know there are lot many 'Wasif's out there in other countries but its not so common of name here in India and I have got people confusing it with all sorts of variants.

'Liely' with an 'e'.. the way to say it is the same way as you say lily..
i don't know why my parents put an 'e' in that,, they said it was the name of the nurse who helped my mom gave birth to me... they must had it wrong... anyway, it's unique

My name is Ngozi (en go zee). It's Nigerian and means God's blessing. Ugh, people always over-complicate it when it's pretty simple.  Then, they ask about my last name, Nwadiogbu, which is a completely different story. . . . And, oh! My middle name is Rebecca.
