Ok so who's your favourite villain/ anti-hero ever? (i know the topic's name is wrong but it'd be a long one if it was right)

I mean guys of the Ichi ( Ichi the killer) and Narushima (Shamo) kind...
those that are despicable but u can't help but to drool over the pages (or in my case the keyboard) and wait for the next page/chapter/volume.

P.S. : Please right the name of the manga to which it belongs so i can read it smile
Spoiler (highlight to view)
yes this is a conspiracy for me to get to know more new manga muahahahahahahahah

Johan, Monster.

My entry may lack originality, as this villain was praised many times before, but it still was Johan who first came to mind. And that's only natural.

Friedo, go and read it (or watch it - the anime adaptation is perfect), if you haven't done that yet. Naoki Urasawa's just too genius for his own good. Really.

He's not a protagonist. He's the antagonist.
L is the Protagonist.

You really should change the name though. I had no idea it would be this kind of topic till I got curious and clicked on it laugh

Hmm...favorite villain/anti-hero ever...

My (current) personal favorite is Lelouch Lamperouge from Code Geass. I mean that guy's awesome. He is very similar to Light in many ways, but I just like this guy better. Mostly cuz I think Lelouch is waay hotter than Light laugh

But yeah, I also agree with the person who said Light. Evidently, he is smarter than Lelouch, what with the few times Lelouch has absolutely *& please excuse my French* fucked up (like in episode 22). Light always catches himself just in time, but they are similar in the way that they aren't exactly...sane anymore once they gain power. Light's lucky he's got Misa. Poor, gorgeous Lelouch; he's probably lonely sad

Another favorite villain is Kazutaka Muraki from Yami no Matsuei/Descendants of Darkness. That guy's so evil, but you end up loving how insane he is. He sometimes seems sane, but then you remember that he's a rapist, a murderer, etc....

And yet another fav villain is Seishirou Sakurazuka from X and Tokyo Babylon. How could he do that to such a pure-hearted boy?! cry

(Heck yes, 100th post!)

Hmmmm, definitely Kiriyama from Battle Royale. There aren't enough words in this language to describe him.

My favourite would have to be be Lucy from elfen lied. I don't want to sound disturbed, but every time a head went flying or a body ripped apart... mmm.... gorey goodness ^^

+1 for Kiriyama. Completely insane, lack of compassion, arrogant as hell..... now that I think of it he is the kind of guy that I wouldn't mind hanging out with. It would be a contest of who would kill each other first and how creative we can be about it. smile

I would have to say Kamiyama Itsuki from Goth. Yeah, so he never actually did anything... but he would have, and I think that's what matters.

What I like about him is his attitude. He's a psychopath, in the purest form of the word. Not the type to go berserk and tear people to shreds, but the type to plan everything out until it's perfect before the final kill. You have to admit, it takes a certain kind of coldness to steep yourself in the idea and reality of gory murder and still be up for going ahead with it biggrin

i think crazy's right... the protagonist is the main character, whether he's good or bad and the antagonist is the opposing force ( once again whether he's good or bad) so raito would have to be the protagonist as he's the guy we follow throughout the series... IMHO bigrazz

BTW thank you all for the bad guys u suggested smile *adds manga to the wishlist*
