I like how cold blooded Nishi is, compared to Kurono he doesn't take any shit at all, BUT he can't kick any vampire or alien ass like Kurono...
I hope they bring Izumi (panda's friend) back.
He is the best of Kurono and Nishi, into one mean package. Can go on a massive killing spree, taking down both humans and aliens.

You remember what he did to his bullies in his school and what he did to Kaze? Kurono is a badass bastard, he just behaves when he is with Tae, he doesn't want her to find out about Gantz again and end up as a Hunt prey (remember the Tae Alien?) THAT is why he let that fucker annoy him, If he had been alone that guy would have ended in an alley in a pool of his own blood.

Besides Kurono is a master of Agility, Reaction and Mobility, being the only known Gantz player that actually went to a mission without a suit twice and end up killing the Boss in both times, Kurono is at least 4 times better than Izumi, Kurono Profile seems to indicate that he had the Natural Ability of a Sprinter and as such can react MUCH faster to anything you throw at him... Izumi is just MEAN >_>



To make it short the average is 135m/sec reaction time, but those guys are all above 5.6 (with is what I believe Kurono has) so his reaction time is probably better than that

So Kurono is short, that means his reaction time is under 0.026 seconds, probably 0.020 or 0.024 The ability to DODGE, that is what Kurono has, and if you add that super suit to the equation then no one else can hope to beat Kurono on a one on one in a Gantz fight... you can't kill what you can't hit (unless you break his concentration by pulling a head from your ass)

well, " to beat a person, you must be stronger than him,not to beat a bully even when you are stronger than him, you must be stronger than yourself ", every fight is,figuratively, between you and yourself (if u know what i mean ).Firstly, I think kei is not much a badass like before (but i hope he is still a badass ) he didn't beat the shit out of that guy, for the sake of the two girls, that's true and because he pitied him(if Kei punched him, he'd be severely injured). Kei only reacted when he insulted Tae, so even if Tae wasn't there,i don't think anything would happen.But if both Tae and the other girl weren't there,"some thing" would happen(lol).

So, his reaction time is only more than 0.006 seconds faster than guys 1.8m tall( suppose that all your calculations are correct^^) and you think people's reaction is just mechanically equivalent to their height, and everyone's nervous systems are the same?,wow it's only theoretical (it's the slightest way i can criticize >_>).
All i want to say is that Kei Kurono is really a strong man, and what makes him strong is his spiritual power, not physical power.
I don' know where you get the idea that Kurono is a master of agility or reaction, that may be true, but all the evidences(in this manga) indicated that he survived because of his resolve to shrink from no difficulty, he always found out a way to deal with the situation, no matter how dangerous it was, no matter how frightened his comrades were.One important thing about the suit is, it resonates with the mental state of the wearer, so Kurono's true power is really unpredictable and mysterious

shit i'm glad she's dead, for me the female characters go like this

Reika > Tomb Raider > Tae >........................................ > Kei

Well, technically Kurono was actually dead since the very start of the manga when he got run over by that train.
Gantz just scans their molecular makeup and reconstructs it, meaning they are all clones (they even have that number tattooed... or was it a bar code... I forgot). And further more to make it absolutely clear, each "player" is deconstructed by that laser (killed) every time he is called to the room or away from the room.

That is how the concept of "teleportation" would work in the real world anyway. You would go into the teleporter and get yourself "scanned", then broken up into atoms, and at another location with the available atoms stored in the machine, your exact replica would be constructed, and your recorded memories inserted.

But that is still not you. It is another person who is physically and mentally the same as you. You are dead however.
I hope my babble makes some sense...
Basically I was trying to say that no1 really survives in Gantz.
It's all only clones. Just like Kei (the girl) was scanned when she got called in the room, but didn't die and was not deconstructed for some reason (glitch, Nishi explained). That's why her clone had to stay with Kurono, because she realized she was a clone and the original did not die.

well, in scientific aspect, if a living body was dissolved into molecules, then got reconstructed at another place(probably with some minor changes, like in this manga), the new body is not the old one, certainly, but that doesn't mean it can't live its"previous life".If it can have the same interaction to the surrounding environment like nothing ever happened (beside the fact that it moved to another place,lol) then I think that's what "survival" means.So, even if you said that someones got killed every time they were teleported to somewhere, as long as they have the ability to continue their real life at that place (with complete state of living ones), I assume that they survived .In this manga, that ability is provided by Gantz which considers human as data, and can bring them to real life as living beings, the current rules are they must annihilate aliens and SURVIVE (with the meaning of "not get killed") to go back, and once they return, they can continue their "life"and really SURVIVED regardless they are clones or notSo,why can't clones survive?lol i mean their survival is REALLY significant.

Keep in mind that the Gantz ball is actually mass-produced and could possibly be man-made. It could be scientific as you guys have said.



That theory is supported by the fact that there's actually two Kei. It's possible that those 'close-to death' ppl in the gantz room are possibly clones of their physical selves.But..how could Gantz 'put' emotions and memories into these 'clones'. Since the manga has shown that Gantz has the ability to erase 'memories', it is possible that their memories are made from data from their original selves.

and ethically it is merciful to use 'clones' rather than real humans to fight the aliens.
