So I've noticed some bad reviews, and I was kind of surprised. I didn't really notice anything bad about it. I decided to make this poll to see how the results turn out. embarrassed

And meh, this can serve as a general Dogs discussion thread as well. Do you like the manga? If so/not, why? What are its main strong/weak points? Do you like the cast? Etcetera.

I like it.
It's interesting and has good art.
The cast is good too, and has interesting pasts.

We can make general discussion threads on series? +_+
*thinks of all the manga she can do that to*

I think its pretty good actually...The art is some of the best I've seen, even though I understand that there are some issues with the white backgrounds that appear so often hahaha. But it has an interesting story and characters and its generally not easy to guess what will happen the next chapter. Though it can be confusing.

I personally like the story and the art, but I have to agree with the comments about the lacking details. It's kind of disappointing to see the work become less detailed after reading Stray Dogs Howling in the Dark because I thought Miwa's storytelling and art were good then. He even used tones back then. bigrazz Maybe Miwa should hire some assistants or something for Bullets&Carnage. There are more details and refining in the books though, so I guess that makes me feel a little better. At this point in time, I would have to say I like Stray Dogs Howling in the Dark better, but I think if Miwa-sensei put in the same effort he did for the prequel, Dogs:B&C would be even better. eyes

I'm actually really looking forward to the anime. 8D I can't wait to see the characters in action and it'll clarify what happens in the manga for me, haha. Plus I really like the voice cast. smile

So I have a question. I bought Dogs a few months ago, then i checked the scanlation again. I noticed that there are no screentones in some parts, and in Viz's Volume there are screentones. Now I'm wondering if Viz added the screentones themselves, or were they edited later by Shirow himself. I don't believe that Shirow would do this though.
