Most of it is just a hard to follow chronic of Judaism. Then some Jesus and a trailer of the end of days to cap it all off. 6/10 on a good day. This is a misinterpretation and misinformation. Nowhere in the Qur'an does it give a numerical value to the amount of wives given to the male residents of Paradise (not even to the "martyrs", contrary to popular media propaganda), and nor does it mention anything about their spouses being the "queen" of his nymphs.

It is, however, stated several times that equal rewards will be given to both genders (Yes, gender equality in Islam is a thing).

Whatever/wherever you're getting your information from, I suggest you redo your research.

And I believe it is in the hadiths that mention 70 hoors for men. I have asked imams and they have confirmed it. Anyways I don't desire to do anymore research because I don't believe in it.

If I walked up to Neil Degrasse Tyson, admitting that I have very little understanding of the cosmos and then telling him in a room full of other scientists that the core of the Sun is made of ice, and pass it off as fact, what do you think would happen?

I'm agnostic although I come from a catholic family. Sure I've been christened and all that but my parents never really forced their religion onto me. And I'm happy things ended up as they are. It's allowed me to shape my own beliefs and philosophy.

I don't practice any so my religion would be--and is--none. However, at my best, I consider myself a christened skeptic.

I tend to separate the skeptic from the agnostic since the latter often assumes a certain "unsure but contented" stance that, personally, I cannot relate to. I have a profound interest in the Christian tradition particularly and I always enjoy an open discussion on the subject of religion/belief as a whole. My enthusiasm in what regards Christianity has also took me to read the Bible, which I surprisingly enjoyed more than I was expecting to, at least as far as the Old Testament goes (it's hardly a piece of high literature but it can be appreciated still without one losing their wits over it).

That being said, I don't believe in organized religion, which (in its very name) stands as far away from faith as possible. Thus, within the skeptic's range (if such a one exists) I'm afraid I lean closer to atheism, but that's still better than not caring I guess.

Even though I never disbelieved Christianity, I don't think I really started focusing on and understanding my faith (i.e reading the Bible regularly & praying & actually applying things to life) until I was about 15.
