Now there's some serious yuri going around in Negima. I didn't know Konoka is a lebian too. I thought it was just Setsuna's one-sided love.

What makes you think Konoka is a lesbian just because she kissed her? Konoka likes Negi as well and there is a chance he will end up with her since Asuna is confirmed to be his aunt at the moment

it really really doubt anything going to actually happen with them in the manga the kiss was for the pactio and if anything the reason it was long was for fanservce.

I would not put much stock in this kiss. Setsuna does have some type of romantic feelings for Konoka, but it seems that Konoka is almost completely oblivious. Also, they are both ranked fairly high (I believe 8 and 9) on the "Negi Love" chart, and Setsuna has pretty high lust and desire scores from what I can remember. The kiss was bond to happen sooner or later for a pactio, but I really do not see the story going too far into yuri.

I'm not a devoted follower of Negima, but I have read a few volumes of the manga.

I like Setsuna, but Konoka is so oblivious that it's ridiculous. Though it's obvious who the male lead in the pairing would be, I still think Setsuna is cuter.

But yeah, I do like the pairing.

I too, am a fan of this couple, but I am getting the distinct impression that Konoka is simply too oblivious to 'know' which sex she is more attracted too. Ignorance is bliss?

Setsuna, on the other hand, seems to be very conscious and disturbed by her feelings towards her ojou-sama. It is reasonable to say that the character herself is questioning her sexuality and that, I think, is most important.

I doubt that their relationship will progress too much further in 'that' direction, since homosexuality is publicly discouraged and still 'hush-hush' in Japan (to the best of my knowledge). So I imagine that the editors of 'Weekly Shounen' would be encouraged to censor Akamatsu's work if he progresses this delightfully yuri relationship into something more overt.

For the kiss, I dont't think it's only fanservice : it's the longest pactio in the entire series, and this, at least, has to mean something.
In chapter 252 Setsuna it's imbarassed when she thinks she's going to a date, and it's pretty evident what kind of feelings she has for Konoka.
For Konoka, it's a little more complicated: she has a slightly oblivious mind, depsite her good grades, and it's unclear wether she reciprocates Setsuna or not. She sees Setsuna as her best friend or more?
Only the time can tell us.
In the end I also believe that their relationship will not be explored too much in the series, because Negima it's primarily a harem and a shonen manga, but it's not impossible that they can become a canon couple: is Akamatsu who decides, unfortunately (i'm a big Asuna\Negi fan and now that's possible they may be siblings...argh!).

Can one have two different pactio cards at once? Was this ever confirmed in the manga?
