I'm hoping to find a romance manga where the protagonists don't use honourfics with each other when everyone else around them does. I like the intimacy it seems to give the characters (or the hostility I suppose depending on why they aren't using the honourfics) Or perhaps even a manga where they start off formal and as the relationship builds the honourfics are dropped. (oh and please none of the apprehensive, blush all the time heroines, I like shoujo, in fact most of what I read is shoujo but those girls get annoying, case in point Arakure - I just picked it up and I'm not sure if I'll finish it cause Sachie kinda bugs me. I started it because I had really liked Grand Sun and was hoping for similar themes)
I was going to give examples but the only thing I can really think of right now is Cardcaptor Sakura, when Syaoran starts calling her Sakura and she starts calling him Syaoran-kun. And also Touya calling Yukito Yuki just warms my heart a lot for some reason.
However, given my example I would request something a bit more mature than CCS, much as I love it
Thanks so much.

Well, there's Miriam, but I'm not sure if that counts since the setting is a cowboy-Wild-West kind of place so the names are all English and there are no Japanese suffixes at all. It's still a really good romance, though, and the two protagonists have great trust and intimacy with one another.
Also, Venus Capriccio and another one by the same author, Sweet Black, which both involve childhood friends and therefore have an element of closeness and no honorifics.

Ghost Hunt - characters get familiar with each other and give each other nicknames, but only has romantic hints, nothing much more.
Dear or Watashi no Ookami-san - characters also get familiar with each other. Chiruha gives everyone cute nicknames XD
