Just as this thread's title says, i'm suggesting you add a function in edit to change your thread title. Various reasons could be typo, notification (like: "Question answered already") ect.
Basically: upgrade edit so you can edit your thread title too.

For now, just make a post in the thread asking to rename the thread...I'm not sure if we want people to be able to edit the titles of their own threads

no, don't do it, some dude is gonna create a stupid thread, and after people complain, they just gonna change it to something else and, just overall a bad idea.

they can already do that.....they can edit their own post.

So let's see, they can wait until all the mod is gone and edit their post with bad stuff. And as soon as they see the mod come online, they can edit it again.
