for any indonesian who follow this manga and buy the vol release.. especially if you are in jakarta
i have a question:
did M&C stop publishing the vol release? or does the distribution of the manga outside jakarta has stop?
the last one i got is vol 8... and if i'm not mistaken it's already been more than a year now (if u round it up its two years now)

PS: this is not a wrong question or a wrong thread right?

EDIT: never mind.... i just bought vol 9 this week... damn it take them almost 3 fricking years only to publish vol 9.. the previous volumes only take a few months to wait... t'hell happen?

apparently they catching up.. i just bought vol 10 yesterday.. if this continue then it'll be another month till vol 11 .. yay
and i found out that the chapter 56 scanlation is missing 5 page of triela's monologue.. either that or i have the older version of it.. see this is why you should bought the license published ones
triela: "in the end i couldn't remember my past at all. hilscher and mario's story about my past is just like a vague dream. but i can feel that my life is a gift... that's why... that's why, i will continue to fight to live, mother." biggrin
ps: sorry for not editing my previous post..

wow, you speak only to yourself here. unique
i've just read the 11th volumes from comic rental shop, and i realize you have this manga art taken as your avatar. 11th is one hell of a great volume, with so many dying. i'm almost tempted to read more chapter from download site, but i think, its better to wait a little bit. where do you live btw?

Bwahahaha.... LOL..

i have all the entire 11 vol in indonesian already,
dont worry mu2020, m&c and elex always release a manga till the end of volume, till it finish.
never drop it (its not a scanlation group anyway biggrin)
the release frequency depend on contract or status of a manga, if in japan it's on hiatus mode, then the same in indonesia.
i collecting glass mask (topeng kaca in indonesian version) since 1989 till now and it just release the 42 volume 3 months ago. the release frequency now is once a year.
so, just spend ur time looking for another manga while wait the new release of gunslinger biggrin

Well as u can see nobody answered my first question, which i ask a year ago, even though the thread viewed by 100something people back then... And it's weird when they suddenly published 3 volumes with around a month intervals..
I live no where near jakarta... Actually why do people still wanna live there?

yeah, you're absolutely right. even I, jakartans, wants to get out of this city immediately. pity that I'm still a student bound with many activities based on jakarta. should we move to kaskus?

wow even in indonesia manga gets publish nicely ... but malaysia the manga gets the stupid treatment... sometimes stopped with no notice at all... only the ones selling good are continued...the price for it is also how should i say... very high... most manga in malaysia are translated from the english ones or the chinese ones... depends on what type of manga...shounen from chinese version and shoujo from america never from the raw...

i'm pretty curious, but how much a volume costs in malaysia (dollar equivalent)? comics here sold at almost US$2 to US$2.5. dirt cheap! but considering the living cost here, that's not cheap for students. i've seen a scan of manga that published in malaysia, it got awful translation.

I'm so envious. Here in Italy (a volume costs 7,10 €, about 9,70 US dollars - but at least I find the edition very good) the series stopped after two volumes since the publisher "died", then another publisher started it again and after 10 vol the series seems "dead" again, I asked them by email and they don't know when they're gonna publish next volumes. I want 11th volume so bad, it's one of my favorite too, and this is my all time favorite manga. I can't understand why it's not selling well here (its main fan base here is made by girls, which I find quite strange honestly), it's one of the best manga ever for both art and story, and it's even set here in Italy, I don't know what else you can ask for in a manga... even in the States it didn't seem to go well from what I understood (correct me if I'm wrong).
I'm glad that at least in some place it got a better treatment. smile

don't envy us. Paper is ceap here, the tree that is used for the pulp industries grow easily here. And $2 here can be a full meal for two. Which mean a lot... There just a lot of manga readers here, that's all.
