Weird... I thought that Kisame, before these last couple chapter was one of the weaker of the Akatsuki, but turns out to be one of the strongest. I get how you feel Paikiej but i think he always kinda planned this, i mean i think he really must have liked Kisame to keep him alive this long.

Also, i kinda want to see how Killerbee will look in this Version 2?
And that aside Naruto still has a level 2 i guess, since there is still Half of the Ninetails Chakra left. This Chapter has peaked my interest.

I am not reading naruto anymore, but that statement needs to be corrected.

Kisame is NOT the weakest member of Akatsuki, it was mentioned QUITE often that the guy is a TANK of chakra (equal or bigger than naruto), and it was stated that his sword eats chakra... is a matter of doing a 2+2 = Monster... painfully simple.

Neji said that his chakra levels were comparable to Naruto's, and that was with less than half of his strength and a body double, I don't think this guy is a loser.

Hmm...they say he's a tailed beast that isn't one. Is it possible this could lead to an explanation on the origins of the tailed beasts, why they were created besides the obvious reasons, how they were created, and do they hold an even greater purpose? Regardless of the way Kisame looks, there could definitely be more to this than just an old jutsu and transformation...

Kisame's mutated form isn't especially interesting, I agree with all of you on that, but for me personally, the real disappointment is seeing Naruto's, and Now Killer Bee's, however-many tailed forms. They're just big black blobs with tails and jack 'o lantern faces. Surely, as a professional mangaka, he could come up with something more imaginative than that?

Anyway, if Kisame's sword can do all of these awesome things, then what about they other great swords? Zabuza's was just really big, and Suigetsu broke it rather easily.

I had a moment of shock when they started talking about taking out Ao's eye, like they're really going to so something like that in Naruto? But then we got the PG-13 cut right before he got beheaded. I don't know whether to be grateful or disappointed...

They sort of explained where the tailed beasts came from already. It said that the nine beasts came from one uber ten tailed beast that would have destroyed the world if not divided... but I don't think he'll go into it much more. I mean he explained it pretty well in the first place, but if he does go further into this... I feel that he's just going to turn every thing upside down and around just to spite us (as he's done a pretty good job so far).

@brid... I think that's the form that they're in when they are still human, because the creature said that it wanted to be released but was not allowed to. Besides, they already have images of what eight-tails is supposed to look like. I think the author is only delaying the fight by not having the full form released... I bet in two chapters his full form will be out--unless he decides to cover more material on Naruto and sakure... then it will be four chapter at minimum.

Killer bee's pretty cool, having control of the beast and all. Would be cool if Naruto could do that.
