I learned that I will never, ever, sign up for a class that starts at 9am ever again.

ahahaha, yeah....seems to me class at 10am is the earliest, anything else is way too early. people usually sleep at 12am so.....assume they get 8 hours of sleep, they can get up at 8am or 8:30 am. Breakfast and possibly shower and then it's 9am or 9:30am. Then you got 30 minutes to prepare and go to class for the 10 am class.

Meh I'm rather annoyed by this comment, I do Chemical Engineering and I start at 8am everyday and have to get up at around 6:30 to give me time to cook breakfast, shower and walk to Class (takes about 45minutes to walk there) Its never really an issue. I don't see how you can't be bothered to be up that early, for me its reasonable for you to be sleep deprived sometimes, its always self inflicted. If I sleep late I know that it was my fault and I'll just have to put up with it. I suppose its called being a responsible Adult.

Well it's hard to wake up at 6AM (Yes, I have to set my alarm to go off at 6, 6:30, 7, and 7:30 because I'll just go back to sleep) when you didn't get home from work until 3AM. I usually can't even fall asleep without serious medications until 4 or 5, if even then. So going to a class without sleep for 24+ hours can have a very negative effect. Maybe if the class wasn't 3 hours long it wouldn't be so bad.

ahahaha, another troll ehh? Don't worry, I am not angry. rahhh! biggrin

People usually sleep at 12am because we all have sh%t load of homework/projects/assigned readings. I don't know if you noticed yet, but you are suppose to READ before you go to class and that gets real time consuming....especially if you are reading something you have not yet learned. I have many friends who are chemical engineers and they have a lot of homework. Usually they sleep very little as well. Maybe your institution is more lenient and that's why you have the choice of sleeping early, but other people like me don't. Of course if you aren't trying for that 4.0....you can always not study at all. smile

Today I learned I'm the cutest girl in the world. I look good, but thats not everything. My personality also is just... awesome. My smile brings you to other worlds. I'm just completely awesome!!!

And I learned too that my eyes... oh they are sooo beautiful. When you look into them you can not not have a huge smile on your face!

I'm awesome!

Greets smile

You seem conceited and somewhat of a megalomaniac. But you actually sound like someone with a low self esteem trying to convince them self of their worth or you just had a good day and your taking it over board none Well I guess its good for you that you can see your good points and appreciate them

Anyway I learned, that teachers try to justify their hypocritical authoritarian attitude by making it seem as if they care and they are helping you fix you dark, rude, unhealthy and wrong nature. Also that they are all more bark than bite and some of them aren't aware of it.

Sorry for not understanding your circumstances, I get a knee-jerk reaction when someone complains about classes and times, its always the same group of people who tend to come to classes with a hangover. You however are much better than that. I'll try to be in a less hateful mood next time I post ^^

I might have you know I got a distinction and am fully sponsored by a company to study chemical engineering based on my high school results. Saying that I don't know anything about studying, reading and classroom preparation is quite an overstatement. You have 2-3labs a week which goes to around 24-30ish hours a week? That still leaves an ample time for doing anything that isn't sleep related. Don't know what you call being sleep deprived is but I'm pretty sure I've been sleeping for 7hours for the majority of my life and that is pretty much all the time I need.

Most of the classes I take, I already have a fair grasp on during the first year and I only really had to do serious revision for say half the modules? Second year was a lot more in terms of the fact I don't know any of the modules. I also decided to take astrophysics which is a pet peeve of mine so I suppose that was pretty much marks in the bag. But just because I never have issues with sleeping doesn't say I don't bother with the actually education part of University, I just focus less on the partying part of University, which probably just makes me have that extra time to safely say that I've done the work, I can sleep now.

Edit: I did a completely different High School examination board which was much more vigorous and dealt with first year university level Maths Physics Chemistry and what not, so saying that my University is easier isn't the case, I've just done more in High School.
