I don't care much for most FPS games but years of Counter-Strike makes playing console FPS games feel imprecise. I played Call of Duty 4 on both the PS3 and 360 (I had a PS3 first then bought a 360 and wanted achievements) and I still didn't feel like it was perfect. I've been playing Team Fortress 2 on PC for a little under a year now and I don't see me being able to check for Spies or rocket jump efficiently with a controller.

Just buy a mouse and keyboard for the console.
Or you could get a SplitFish FragFX Controller http://www.gizmodo.com.au/2007/06/splitfish_fragfx_ps3_contro lle.html

That still doesn't help with placement of the mouse and keyboard. My PC has a desk set-up while I have nothing for the consoles.

I would also like to say the only console exclusive FPS that did anything for me was Goldeneye 007. I tried Halo maybe a year ago and it wasn't that great. I don't have much faith in Killzone 2 though it does look great.

Have you tried any of the Metroid Prime series? They're some of the best console exclusive fps of the market.

Edit: Metroid Prime 3 was docked points by some reviewers because the controls made aiming too easy. wtf?

Yeah I really never understood that. What Wii needs is an online FPS, I would giggle like a school girl.

I picked up the first Metroid Prime when I bought a Wii (near release) and it brought back my motion sickness I get every so often with FPS games. I might have finished Portal because of the fun puzzles but I wasn't go through that for Metroid.

Oh, sounds rough. I've heard that if it's only with some games, it may have something to do with the viewing arc of the game (like how some people get motion sickness from an imax film).

*shrugs*

You would think all the flying around I do in TF2 would be bad for me but I've only gotten sick playing TF2 once or twice out of 500+ hrs.

PC, hands down.

But FPS games make me nauseous after about an hour of playing. Personally, i don't care anymore for this genre except for the groundbreaking titles half life 1 and cs spinoff, quake 2 coz quake 1 did not count, and Medal of Honor 1. Im an rpg guy biggrin

I prefer PC.

Not to mention the good quality ones that are out right now. They also get the best multiplatform FPS.

I got TF2 to work finally this week an can't stop playing, and I find it a lot easier on PC than on a system, though graphically it sucks.

I don't enjoy FPS games (Half Life is the only exception to that), but it's way easier to play on a PC. I haven't read through the whole thread so I don't know if it has been said, but you can enjoy FPS games on the console if you buy a keaboard/mouse and don't mind the extra $$$ you have to give.

Used to like FPS games, got bored of them by now though. Anyhow, PC FPS are definitely better than console FPS. When I play console FPS I almost fall asleep from boredom and aiming is such a pain. PC FPS tend to be faster paced and feels more realistic.
