Does it really matter? I honestly can't think of a single instance on this site where I've wondered about another person's gender laugh

Umm... If you wanted to know you could just ask them I suppose. Right?

...What does my avatar say about my gender? ^^;

I don't really think about it, honestly. How much does gender matter when it's just pixels on the computer screen?

Where they post at usually gives me an idea. Sometimes their sigs/avatars do drop hints. Like where it's from and etc.

I don't usually care about genders, but sometimes it's nice to know. :3

Go gut instinct.
Otherwise, I don't really go out my way to know their genders. xD

I'm not really that worried about it most of the time. Once in a while, I will read a response and think that it sounds like a girl or something, but other than that...not really. There are a few people who's posts I see pretty often, and I've come up with genders just by reading, but I've never taken the time to check it out.

Honestly, the only person I've actually ever wondered about is Dr. Love, because of all of those weird avatars. Still have no idea.

Sometimes I try to pass myself off as male. (I don't mean on this forum) I do this because I relate more to guys than to girls... but....
I get ignored by most girls online anyway, UNLESS I lie and state that I am male. How funny is that?

I don't really care anymore.

In my mind, Che is still a hot lesbian chick, Doc is still Belgium's Ru-Paul, and Law is still this mysterious multi-gendered thingamajig whacchamacallit.

XD

Being the lazy bum I am, I assume the poster's gender from their sig/ava/post. The profile's an extra click away ~.~ then you have to click back.

Which, by the way, leads to a lot of misunderstandings. For example, I assumed blak was a girl for the longest time. eek

*A bit curious on which admin/mod put the phrase "Dead Corpse" under my pic. lol

Their profile or sometimes you can tell by their avatars and the way they type. D; Other times by their username. (My username obviously tells you that I'm a girl. :3 )

I think my gender is pretty obvious from my signature and avatar alone. If one needs more proof, they need look no further than my username.

I usually can tell gender by the way a person writes and what they write about.

I generally go with my gut and I don't think about it beyond the first impression, but I'm often wrong. For example, I though Manik was a girl for the longest time.

But I think most ways are generally wrong, beyond checking a persons profile. I can't count how many times I've been mistaken for a guy.

Lots of evidence...

Profile, tone. reaction to certain topics, etc...

Never trust Avatars or Sigs...

hahaha
i usually try to figure it out by the avatar and name
so i get 30% of my guesses wrong
so i came to a very philosophical? delusion of "is what i see in this forum what is really is?"
becuase i misktake the gender too much!

but figures, i'm just being lazy
