Okay. .__.
I only watched the anime because people kept praising it...DX Anyway, the anime was okay at best, I really liked the characters and it had its moments. XD I say watch the anime, I tried reading the manga and couldn't make it through the second volume, it was a bit...different- probably just the atmosphere.
Also, Tora Dora isn't even a Shoujo...so wrong section. DX

The anime is alright, it's both funny and cute. The ending is decent too. I would rate it about a 7 out of 10.

Funny and cute. I only watched the anime and I really liked it. I also recommend Zero no Tsukaima, the anime version at least since I only saw that one,

Toradora Anime is loyal to the novel... more or less... and as such I agree... that is OK... for an anime.
HOWEVER, Zero no Tsukaima anime is a BIG pile of DUNK!!!! The novel is a thousand times better, and as such the fact you are promoting dunk disturbs and annoys me.

Wha-, you must not have eyes! D:< I liked both the anime and manga, although the anime would've been better if it was just 12 episodes instead of dragging it needlessly in some parts. O_O~
But I agree with your response, it was okay. XD Nothing superb.

Since I didn't read the novel I can't say how good it is and I also know that manga is usually better than the anime version, still I found the anime enjoyable enough. So no matter how good the novel is I still don't think that the anime is as crappy as you say.

It is... I watched it...
The pacing is all wrong... the heart breaking moments are gone... there mood is all about being funny and fan service... if that is not bad, then I don't know what it is...

Good, both the manga and the anime follow the light novel in a way it's still enjoyable reading the manga and watching the anime. I still like the light novel the best though

On ZnT: The first season was good (7/10). The second was decent (6/10). The third has gone horribly wrong. Read the novels instead.
Back on topic: ToraDora is great. Still, it's mostly character driven. If you like them, you'll thoroughly enjoy it. Otherwise, not so much.

To be honest I was actually talking only about the first season, I tried watching the 2nd and I dropped it because indeed I thought it was stupid.
Ok now back to Toradora: just try it for yourself it's really good.

The anime was good...just wasn't as good as the novel, though it did made me cry a little. When I first started Toradora, I was rooting for Taiga (who wasn't? :\ ). Ami was one of my most hated character of all time...till I watched the anime. By the end of it all, I wished that he had picked her instead. Taiga got very annoying by the end, IMO. Hell, even Minori was a better choice by the end. (Totally cried when she got inadvertently rejected)
... Good thing the game has alternate endings. =D
