I love the renaming function in ACDSee, though. I always unzip all the chapters and put them in their own volume zip and they're not always named the same.

that sounds awesome! I have to try that renaming function.

CDisplay is good with the rar & zip file. However it is no good with the folder of images.
I used to unzip file to the folder and use some program which provide loop to read and then delete all the zip or rar file.
I would prefer program which provide full screen and loop. smile wink grin

I tried everything there is.. and the most comfortable thing I could find was the CDisplay... you can adjust the height so you don't have to zoom in or anything.. and with the mouse you can just roll down and keep reading nonstop.. finished the chapter/volume? shift+L and you're ready for the next one lol

Manga Meeya is pretty good.

I'd rank it better than CDisplay.
Only problem is that no one is working on it anymore.

Nothing fancy for me; just your average windows photo gallery thingy. I only use CDisplay for reading comics.

I can recommend ComicRack. Its library features have killed all the simple manga readers/viewers for me.

However, you may find this comprehensive list helpful if you're looking for software to reed your manga collection: List of Comic and Manga Readers

I usually use Windows Picture viewer, but recently I got fed up with the lockups caused by an nvidia driver issue, so I wrote my own quick little image viewing program.

I use Irfanview to view all my pictures. It's fast and easy. I also use it for simple editing, such as cropping panels, etc. from pages, just because I like to do that. Although the program that remembers where you were reading sounds tempting.

I use IZArc to unzip files. Just right-click on the file and it comes up as an option. I use Advanced Renamer to rename files. It's the most intuitive renamer program of several I tried. I like to rename files 1) to get them to fall in the right order and 2) so I know what the picture is from when I crop it from a page.

I use MangaMeeya. Simple, and easy to use. The first one I tried, and I'm too lazy to try out others...
