i am trying to add this series called "zero",by MATSUMOTO Taiyo, but there is already another series with the same name.
what to do ??

Usually you include the Mangaka's name into the series name too.

Series name (Mangaka Name).

...Or you put the genre, but I think most people prefer putting the mangaka's name (or was it the other way around?).

Mangaka is the way to go. It creates less conflict considering the chances of two similar titles will have a similarly named (but not the same person) author than have the same genre.
And manga have more than one genre.
And there's already a seinen "Zero". Though that's a manwha you won't name it Zero (manga), would you?

The proper way to do it is Title (Author) if it's already in the database.
