my friend read this one story in a bookstore and she can't remember what the title was. can somebody help me?, because i'm trying to be a very good friend and find out for her.

a little girl has a stuffed animal, which might or might not be polka-dotted (she can't remember), and she gets into some kind of trouble (can't remember) and the stuffed animal comes to life and helps her out and she has another stuffed animal, who's also male, and he joins her later on in the story.

and the one scene that she can remember, the stuffed animals are on her bed and they're spazzing because she's changing clothes and they're afraid to look
