It' summer (at least where I live) so I've been eating tons of melon. With my passion for melons, I've decided to create a thread dedicated to them. Let's discuss:

1. What are you favorite kinds of melon?

2. What is your preferred way to eat melon?

3. By what methods do you obtain your melons?

I'll start...
1. I love watermelon, but my favorite has to be the majestic orange flesh honeydew. It's the best of both worlds, being a hybrid of cantaloupe and honeydew. There are many more kinds of melon I haven't tried yet, though. ;D

2. I like to slice my melon in half, scoop out the seeds if necessary, then eat out the innards using a spoon.

3. I get my melons usually at my local whole sale store (aka costco) and at the nearby farmers market.

2. What is your preferred way to eat melon? i like to slice it in quarters then cut the thick skin off and then i cut the pieces in little triangles then i eat them with my hand!!! yum yum

3. By what methods do you obtain your melons? meijers?

No idea... I eat what I get.

Cut into slices and then cut them vertically for easy accessibility.
Best way is cubes, but it's too much a hassle.

1. I've only eaten watermelons... and they're pretty good. :3 There're also Vietnamese melons in the house that my parents like, but I'm too scared to try em. >_>;;

2) I usually just kinda scoop out what I want then put the melon back......
3) If they were smaller I would try and cop one....could try the old elephantitis trick, but I guess I buy them for now?

1. Um. Watermelon, cantaloupe, and honeydew.

(I always get the latter two confused because when I think honeydew I think of the colour yellow, therefore I confuse honeydew with cantaloupe--which is an orange-ish yellow. But honeydew is actually green? ... Does this happen to anyone else but myself?!)

2. Doesn't matter, cubes or slices. I just eat it anyway.

3. Supermarket...? I don't buy them, my mom does.

1. What are you favorite kinds of melon?
Watermelon, the best thing you can have in a hot summer day. The only downside is that there are lots of seeds, and they scatter everywhere.
And its inside is red, blood red I mean.
2. What is your preferred way to eat melon?
I cannot eat much, so I often cut into slices, then cut again into little triangles.
3. By what methods do you obtain your melons?
Local store(way cheaper than in supermarket)
