Left.

People sometimes relate it to certain aspects of my personality. Something about brain hemisphere development I guess. Maybe a good time to read some wiki.

I'm left-handed and I'm another person that has to pause and think which way is what.

I'm right-handed. My parents said that I started out using my left hand, and then they got me to switch. Right now, left had can't write, use chopsticks, etc. When it comes to basketball, my right hand is better, and it's easier in martial arts for me to kick with my right leg.

But when it comes to something like flute, piano, and typing, both hands are equal. But then, you can't really do any of those things unless both of your hands are equally dexterous in those fields.

Who says that left-handed people are smarter? That is so not true... I know plenty of smart left and right-handed people.

I'm left-handed, too.

I think the saying is "Left-handed people are in their right mind" which refers to the side of the brain that controls the left side of the body. ('Right handed people are in their left mind' doesn't really sound neat, though.)

Everyone in my family is right-handed, except my grandmother, who was left handed at first but was forced to learn to be right handed.

Actually many animals exhibit a hand/paw preference.

And yeah, I have a poor sense of what is "left" and "right" as well.

right hand, because in grade 1, it was forbidden to use our left hand. We'll get hit. This was Hong Kong a decade ago.

However I have practically zero real sense of left and right, for example if I'm driving and someone tells me "turn right at the next street" I have to think about it and figure out which way right is or else there's about a 50/50 chance I'll turn left instead.

I wonder if this is for the older women because I've heard this thrice today. laugh

Nah, I've always been this way, and my brother as well.

True story, driving somewhere with my brother. He says "turn right", actually meaning left. I turn left, thinking it's right... laugh

This is funny because I used to do the same thing. I still sometimes have to look at my hands for the "L". lol
Back in high school when my friends and I would drive somewhere and they would give me directions, everyone got into the habit of telling me to "make a mine" or "make a yours" instead of right or left.

My husband can use both hands equally well for writing and other things, though he trained himself to use his right hand predominantly because left-handedness was discouraged by his teachers when he was young. (And my daughter DID learn to grasp objects with both hands first, but uses mainly her right.)

We point. "Now turn THAT way!" eyes

I write with my left hand but I predominantly use my right hand/leg for sports and various other activities. I consider myself left handed though I'm training myself to use my right hand to write. So, I voted left
I don't know my left and my right when I'm driving either, just because I process things slowly, so I react before the word left or right processes fully in my mind.
I like yours and mine better than left or right. THAT way might be good. Never really tried it.
