Well Kisame is dead now. Probably.
And I hate how Kishimoto makes it seem like we're going to see Madara's face then all of a sudden something gets in the way. He does this way too much. 
Good chapter. Gai is apparently at the pinnacle of awesomeness, so I don't see why he doesn't just close his eyes and beat Madara down. He probably could.

Im kinda disappointed that Gai's fight didnt last longer, it would have been nice to see more of his fighting intensity. Also i want to learn more about the shark people.. I always thought it was just kisame who looked like that.
P.S. I wish i could have blue glowing sweat. That would be awesome.

Moon's eye plan---feels like Madara is going to use all the power of the jinchuuriki or something to have a sharingan on the moon which will gaze over the world,or something like that and with the moon's eye he will be able to control everyone and that will lead to peace...is that his plan??thats what am thinking.

The biggest problem is that Madara is a lier and we all know that but when he said something about moon's eye plan everyone belives it to be true why? I belive it to be a farce the plan that he said out loud there is probobly an other plan "the real one"

haha i kno right! he does the same thing with Kakashi's mask - i don't get why the big mystery though - i mean they built a huge mountain sized statue of Mandara, so unless he's a faceshifter or actually has the face of a character we've seen there's no real mystery as to what he looks like

Yeah, Madara explained all of this way back in chapter 467.
Anyway, my friend's suspicions about Madara actually being the 4th Mizukage were right in a way (Which means that I probably owe her $10 now...), and I liked Kisame's backstory. It showed exactly how far he'll go towards completing a mission, and his reason for joining Akatsuki was simple yet understandable.
But I do have a question though: Is there really any point to the blue sweat? Or is it there just to look cool?

Yeah I know!
What kind of sucker would just give out the details of his life's work masterplan?
Whatever it ends up being, he's quite clearly dedicated to it and doesn't care what others think.
If I were in such a situation I'd lie about it while carrying out the real plan in secret. Logic.

Kisame only said "Mizukage" when Madara took his mask off. He never said exactly which Mizukage he was. And John21 was talking about the Moon Eye's plan, not about Madara controlling the 4th Mizukage.

I'm grateful Kisame didn't get a sappy backstory, as per usual. It's OK to let bastards stay bastards.
Like everyone else, I was annoyed by the Madara fake out, but wasn't surprised by it either. I guess Kishimoto is saving that "revelation" for a big moment later on.
Really hope we don't get a round 2 with Kisame now that he's broken out of his restraints. Gai beat the crap out of him, and isn't biting your own tongue supposed to kill you?

I wish Kisame would die already. He was always one of my least favorite Akatsuki members. He's so beat up now and surrounded by powerful ninja....I don't think he has anywhere else to go. Death or capture is his only escape.
Guy is such a badass though. Too bad Lee wasn't there to witness it.

Kisame is just an unwilling to give up loser, who got owned by Guy in only a few moves. Yep its proven his life is limited to only minutes at most.

Ugh, don't people pay any attention? He won't die until he has the scroll.
As seen in his flashback, he won't let the enemy have any information. Information is more important then death.
Aoba may die, and he will get the scroll to Madara then most likely die.
