After reading recent chapters, i conclude that it would probably be the mermaid princess Shirahoshi. I seem to remember somewhere where it said that someone would come to guide the princess with her ability to call forth sea kings and i believe that someone is Luffy

I think adding a mermaid in their ranks sound about right don't you think? I mean she's weak but at the same time she can be overwhelming with her power and i think she's just the kind that would fit perfectly with the rest of the crew.

The power to call forth sea kings would turn any battle around in a jiffy and Luffy's crew would be be a serious match with any of the four emperor. I really hope she'll become the 10th member

Sanji-(Maaaaahhh I love him, LOL he's sarcastic, funny and a bid idiot). His story was GREAT, E_E
Chopper- nobody though of him as someone good, they though he was evil or the devil.
Franky- é.é loved but hated.
Brook-E_E he's a skeleton!
Nico-Well..we all know her story.

So maybe it'll be a mermaid, ._. because everyone WANTS THEM, BUT HATES THEM...and still LOVES THEM.

That's true, chineserider, but don't rule out Logia just yet- you know with Luffy, and with Oda, absolutely anything could be possible

does anyone else think that Jewelry Bonny will be the next member? i mean out of all the 100k+ rookies from 2years ago she had the second most page time (next to the doc) and she was there for a couple of important events (first run in with the royal t... forgot name.... and saved zoro from killing him, in the auction house when everything went down, the end of the white beard battle, first to fight black beard) and also because she was beat by black beard she will probably want revenge having a common enemy and join the crew after she breaks out from jail (probably will run into zoro and remember him from 2 years ago) .... also look at ch498 she eats like luffy...

^ I was thinking something along those lines. Maybe she won't become a crew member, but it seems like Oda has plans for her in the future (possibly big plans).

I am hoping on hancock despite it being 300% impossible.... the crew needs a chick that's in love with something other than concepts/materials(history/gold) >_>. Other than sanji no one has ANY romance interests, and he wasn't getting far even BEFORE he gained his okama scarring. So ya, here's hoping on the only powerful female that has any interest in the opposite gender. Princess woulddntt be too bad but she wouldn't really fit in the boat, so on practicality I'm guessing jinbei joins :/... not rly happy about it.

Out of the known characters in the series she has the best chance of joining in my opinion. I've said that before this arc started. I said before the arc that i didn't think they'd pick up anyone on fishmen island, and i still think that. It will be the next arc and i think if its going to be a known character its going to be Bonney. They'll release her due to some kind of antics they stir up, and she'll join, if it goes that route. That being said, it may not be someone we've met. In only one instance has a crew member been met before their arc started and that was nami, who we met around the same time as zoro. I do hope is bonney cause she has a goal already and we need another female.
