Or a manga with a girl tsundere that doesn't get violent and beats the hell out of the guy. Nothing too predictable either like Suzuka.

And just for the hell of it, a gender-bender with all of the above (but since this sounds a bit too much it isn't required).
I prefer seinen, and also shounen (with minimal "shounen cliches") But i can go for a shoujo/josei as long as it isn't too sweet or "sugar-coated".

Savage Garden

This story has a gender bender, a guy tsundere, and a girl tsundere who doesn't beat the crap out of guys. Only catch is that this has some shonen-ai themes (although the main character is a straight girl) so if you're not cool with that, then don't read this.

Ouran High School Host Club

Has gender bender and a tsundere girl who doesn't beat up her men. pretty straightforward. Oh, and it's a reverse harem. I don't know if that makes a difference to you, but that sort of thing matters to me, so . . .

I don't know if you are into mangas like Inuyasha and Kamisama Hajimemashita
but they both have tsundere males. The girls in both tend to get pretty violent, though.

Sorry, that was all I could think of. I especially recommend the first one, but I guess it just depends on what you're looking for.

@unusuallove Thanks i think i'll try savage garden. I tried reading ouran but it didn't keep my attention after like 20ish chapters so i gave up on it. Inuyasha is a bit too long for me atm so i think i might hold off trying it until winter break.

And unless there's a large emphasis on BL i don't mind a little shounen-ai. shoujo-ai and yuri are fine with me if they're not the main focus.

I second Savage Garden. Even though it dabbles into shounen ai territory, it's quite enjoyable as it is a gender bender (:
