Dear people of the world -

Oh yeah, 2011 will be an epic year of gaming like 2007 was...

Glad that they're going to explore Skyrim though.

Awesome. I've been waiting for the next Elder Scrolls game for such a long time, it is great that it has finally arrived! Looking forward to this

I preferred the swords and magic fantasy of TES over the post-apocalyptic sci-fi of Fallout. I've been waiting for this for a while... was severely disappointed when New Vegas was announced before a new TES.

Glad that they're going to explore Skyrim though. Hopefully we'll learn even more about it.

2011 will be great, especially for RPGs. The Witcher 2, Dragon Age 2, Diablo III (I hope)...

Pretty cliche subject, dragons v solo human, human ends up winning. Whatever, I loved TESIV, I'm sure I'm going to love this more as I played 4 on xbox and I'm going to get this for PC and use mods and stuff. I can't wait.

Looking forward to it. Though I think due to Bethesdas ship it by an exact date ethos will end if up with a buggy mess till the first few patches come out, especially with them using a completely new engine for the game. Don't get me wrong I am happy to see the Gamebyro engine discarded but 11 months just doesn't seem long enough to create a fully functioning bug free game on a completely new game engine that has yet to be used in a major release. sad

Maybe they've been working on it since a little after Oblivion?

Either way, I'm glad to see it'll be set in Skyrim this time.

Yeah, it seems like they've been working on it since then or after Fallout 3.

It would be super odd to start work on the engine 11 months from launch.
Anyway, Todd Howard said that it has been in development for two years

And it will still probably be riddled with bugs. No matter, just the fact that it will be set in Nord country is enough to get me to buy it if I don't have a good enough PC to play by then.
