moderate is fine with me....too much is too annoying and too little is too serious for me at least. For example, Ouran Koukou Host Club has just the right amount of humor. That's why it's so popular.(:

It really depends on the series. If it has has a more serious plot, or if it's horror, injecting humor into it would be really out of place. On the other hand, if it's meant to be funny, I would expect there to be a lot of humor.

I put moderate, but my favorite is medium but SO few series truly pull of half humor and half drama (in my opinion) that I can't bring myself to pick it...with many authors, even some of the good ones, the humor in drama seems forced or out of place, and the drama in the comedy does not always achieve the right amount of depth. The great authors, however, can do this perfectly....
...and when they do, it is glorious.

medium.
i love my funny moments, most of my favorite mangas has it. cant live without it. but a manga with just ita nd not story at all will most likely feel repetitive.. its just a matter of time before they run out of puns right??

I don't care if it has a lot or none at all, as long as the overall manga is good.

this.
also i like action manga with serious humor
and if the manga is ecchi the ecchi-scenes should be connected with something funny

I don't think I've read a good series that didn't have any humor, so I guess I like at least a little bit of humor in the series I read.

Moderate amount! Also depends on what I want to read. I wouldn't want too many funny moments in a serious manga.

This is an impossible poll to vote on as there's no differentiation made between types.
If I'm reading a gag manga like Katteni Kaizo I want it chock full of humor. A moderate amount would make it tedious, and serious moments would feel misplaced.
However, if I'm reading a serious piece like Billy Bat, cheap gags and jokes would utterly destroy the sinister mood and the erie atmosphere of the story.
Then there's stories like "Fairy Tail" which have both humorous and dramatic moments, but wouldn't work as pure gag manga or serious business.
And to prefer only one of the three aforementioned would be impossible for me, as I enjoy them for different reasons and on different levels.
A similar question to this poll would have been "Do you prefer your grandparents, your best friend, or your girlfriend?".
Of course it's neither and all. You love them for different reasons, in very different ways, and at different times, but you don't dislike one because you like the others.

i like alot of comedy, but i guess it depends on the story. if the story is like bleach, then why do you even bother with comedy. but if its like one piece, it wouldnt be the same without it.

Huum, It's hard to answer since I expect different amounts of humor from different kinds of series
So, my answer is:
In my ideal series there would be just a little humor.

Depends... if the point of the manga is to be funny, then the more humor it has, the better it is. On the other hand, if the point of the manga is to be serious, then the less humor it has, the better it is.

It honestly depends what I'm in the mood for. If it's some kind of horror, action, or suspense story with tons of drama and plot twists, then I prefer to be as less, if not no, comedic content in them. It also depends on what style of comedy the manga is question is trying to portray. I like the style of crude humor along with the gags that challenges the line of good taste, so if the manga in question has more of that style of humor, then I'm more going to read that title than one with a bunch of seemingly useless ecchi-style gags.
