I'm looking for romance w/ a guy who gets hurt by a girl and ends up becoming bitter, cold, and a little mean. Or maybe just gloomy. I want to at least see flashbacks of when they were together and see how she broke his heart. The guy must not end up w/ the girl who hurt him.

-The story must be from the guys point of view.
-No harems. Triangles are fine.

Please don't recommend anything with cockroach male leads. By that I mean guys who put up w/ a ton of crap and they just get back up again and again. I want to see the guy utterly crushed and hurt and for the girl to be a genuine bitch. Something like a traditional shounen romance being shattered. Usually there is always some twist and it's revealed the girl isn't a bitch. I want one where the girl is definitely a bitch and he does not end up w/ her.

Like..Sae from Peach Girl in a shounen romance.

A reverse is ok so long as the guy who hurts the girl is a genuine jerk and it is not played for laughs like in Skip Beat where he gets comical scenes w/ the heroine. Btw if you recommend me a reverse the guy cannot be some guy w/ a bad past that somehow excuses his actions and he comes back saying he loves her. He needs to hurt her and he needs to find what he did funny. A genuine jerk please.

Bokura ga Ita has something like...
the male lead gets hurt by a girl
in flashback
becoming bitter/cold/little mean
didn't end up with the girl who broke his heart

but that's just to spice up the main story.
