I don't really skip classes all day, but there was a time when I always cut my afternoon classes, lesay, 2 times a week for 2 months, but I stopped cutting classes when no one would cut classes with me anymore..

Yes, I would often stay home and get my mum to write a note in High School. I always skipped sports carnival days haha. In pre-primary my mum ran out of excuses to give the teacher and the teacher asked me why I didn't want to go to school lol (I wasn't bullied, I'm just lazy). In University I pretty much skipped all my lectures...

Yeah, I'd often stay home, cause I used to get sick a lot. You know... school sickness.
Classes were a waste of time anyway, nothing you couldn't do at home in half the time or even less.

I never skipped school a day in my life, from kindergarten to high school. My parents are super strict about education. Even when I was extremely sick I was forced to go to school.

I remember only missing two days of school from kindergarten to high school, and it was when one day I caught a virus and threw up so much at school they sent me home. Of course I came back the next day, threw up again, and got sent home lol.

Otherwise I never missed a day, only got sent home twice. Of course now I'm in college and it's different. I've only skipped my elective classes a couple times, of which those kinds of classes are a joke, but even then I try not to unless I am either dying or desperate.
I take my main classes really seriously especially since my parents are paying tuition

Skipped a lot of middle high and high school, mostly because we had an unwritten agreement between us and teachers, that as long as your notes are good you could just as well sleep on the couch in front of the classroom instead of attending. And as long as your attendance was higher than 50%... which resulted in me, and another guy almost failing a subject from which we were writing a national competition.. good times.
Now in college I skip most of the lectures, mostly because my schedule is already full, and going through notes is faster and more time-effective.

I just don't think skipping is right. Sure I slacked off on my homework many times which is a bad habit..but I wouldn't dare skip nor do I want to skip. Plus I would be in lots of trouble if I did.

I will never know the ending to that story now. D:

Skipped plenty, never even had to fake I was sick. My mother was cool about it. D;

Classes was different though. I skipped more classes in uni then I did in high school (though I guess it's not really skipping as oppose to just not going). XD My high school was really anal about students entering and leaving the building so it was nearly impossible to do so. The one time I did my friends and I had to scan one of our schedules and photoshop them and then find blue paper to reprint everything. laugh So much trouble went into doing everything, it wasn't worth it.

I was so happy when senior year came around since we didn't have to go through that mess. :3

Things have changed since high school...
I don't know how people get up for 8am classes anymore. So glad all of my classes start at 9:30 or after now. laugh

No, I was actually sick too often to go off and add another week of not being there pretending.

I never really skipped school till I was in the 10 grade I guess, but after that there was time when I didn't do to school on fridays for almost 6-8 months, long weekends were just too awesome. Now that I'm in uni, I have started skipping again, though I dont do it that often, and only when I'm feeling too lazy to get out of bed in the morning, (which happens alot so I engage in an internal debate on most mornings trying to weigh the pros and cons, but I have managed to limit myself)

I am an expert at skipping school, though I started it only in 12th grade. I attended school for hardly 20 days from december through march. My attendance was not the best before that too. I always skipped school on thursday and saturday. I thank heavens for a lenient class teacher smile
