OK, I know the name sounds inappropriate or adult. I do not want anything hentai or borderline at all. I'm looking for stuff that actually deals with the psychological/psychiatric condition known as hypersexuality, or something similar to it, an obsession/compulsion, or some manner of extreme preoccupation with sexual matters. While the fact that the girl frequently engages in sexual activity, or tries to, is a natural part of this, any portrayal of such things should be very discreet and brief, with the focus on the character's thoughts and feelings and not on her body. One example of the sort of condition I'm looking for is Mon Seul. While the girl isn't completely preoccupied with sex, she's clearly become desperate to do it in fear of being abandoned.

Yamada of B Gata H Kei is not hypersexual in this way. She's an absolute pervert, but she only seems abnormal in comparison to the accepted norm. She sees nothing wrong with how she is, and pursues it with an enthusiasm that's odd but would be acceptible if aimed somewhere else.

I'm looking for something where the character is actually struggling with this or is unable to control it. It could be something psychiatric, such as the way that some bipolar people's manic episodes can trigger an extreme spike in arousal/desire. Or it could be psychological, where the girl feels some sort of desperation that has nothing to do with actual sexual desire. For instance, the girl could somehow feel that this is the only way to gain love and acceptance, similar to the heroine in the manga I mentioned earlier.

Is it even real though. Sex Addiction seems to just be one of those phony conditions famous people fall back on when they get caught being unfaithful to their partners.

Yuria fits somewhat, but it's pretty close to the edge. Hypersexuality does exist. Sex addiction, I'm not so sure. Sex addiction is just one explanation for such conditions, and not very popular in the psych crowd. However, manic episodes triggered by various things can make a person temporarily act out like that, and it's actually considered one potential symptom of rape trauma syndrome, maybe because the person feels like they're already tainted and have no reason to hold back, or in an attempt to regain control of their sex lives. In Mon Seul, the girl's lost all but her brother, and he's never there, and in desperation she tries to use sex to keep the last other person in her life from abandoning her.

Theres the one with the kind of small animal that makes that girl havevery strong sexual urge but i cant remember the name of the manga...

Otogi no Machi no Rena and yeah it seems to fit I would have recommended it but you beat me to it
