I have read a BUNCH of manga, but not enough anime. I need more anime eyes I really prefer men as the main characters, so no female main characters please!!
These are the anime loved so far:
Death Note
Kuroshitsuji
Nabari no Ou

I also loved Prince of Tennis, but that is a pretty unique anime and I doubt that there is anything similar so I was hesitant to mention it, but I decided to mention it anyway since there is still that speck of hope that there just might be something like it. I usually don't like sports anime, but I hope to find another I might like!!
I tend to like anime with main characters that have some sort of strength (physical / mental). For example, in Death Note, Light is strong because of his intelligence.
They do not need to be strong, but they can not be an obviously weak character. Make sure they are not naive either.

I'm seconding FMA: Brotherhood (though the first anime series was good too... but Brotherhood's ending is more satisfying... and similar to the manga).

Hikaru no Go was surprisingly good in my opinion (granted, I didn't read the manga...) Who knew that GO!! could be so intense?!?!!!

Maybe you'll enjoy Monster (it's a bit too suspenseful for me... so I stopped... though I'm tempted on picking it back up again...)

I don't know if you like slower, slice-of-life style stories... but maybe House of Five Leaves? There's no action... but I really enjoyed the character development. smile

Eureka Seven. Loved the anime. Characters, especially the two leads have a lot of character development. In fact, it felt like I was growing up with them. smile

Just a question, how many episodes does it take before it gets properly started? Tried watching a few episodes, and I got a bit bored...

Although I didn't finish Code Geass (sue me), I second that!!

I also second Hikaru no Go, but I have to say it's pretty old. I watched it during junior high, and I'm in Uni now, so yeah. The main character is a bit naive, but he develops overtime.

A really new one is Ao no Exorcist. I really enjoy the manga, and Fukuyama Jun is one of the Seiyuu!!!

Kekkaishi is not really new, and it's too bad that they didn't make it too long, but I loved it.

Yakitate Japan is also nice if you like animes about bakery.

Enjoy laugh

Anime (not new)
Code Geass Season 1 and 2.
Chrome Shelled Regios
Katekyo Hitman Reborn, for short it's KHR (LOVE the manga, though what I had already watched in the anime I skipped in the manga >< Gag at first, but then it gets down to action. My icon is the main character, Tsunayoshi Sawada from the manga.)
Monochrome Factor

Manga and Anime:
Ao no exorcist (new, ongoing)
Beelzebub (I prefer the manga though, as of now. new, ongoing)
D.Gray Man (Personally prefer manga a bit more.)
Fairy Tail (Love the anime! ongoing, but a lot of episodes...like more than 60-ish right now.)
Gintama. (Hilarious. It finished a while ago, but started up again. second season new, ongoing.)
Star Driver (Cheesy haha. new, recently finished airing.)
Tiger & Bunny (new, ongoing. You either dislike this or like this. Cheesy to me also bigrazz )
Deadman Wonderland (Haven't watched it yet, but I read it!)

I liked the anime you suggested, so I decided to suggest in case our tastes were even a bit similar, just in case ^^

If you want to know more about these anime or keep track of what you're watching, etc (so useful, i watch so much anime so i need this) use myanimelist.net smile

eek Sacrilege! Well, I get it's not for everyone. It's pretty ridiculous and full of narm. But if you get into it... the ending. Oh my god, the ending.

Anyway, to be slightly on-topic, I'll second Eureka Seven. I only got maybe 12 episodes in for some reason I've forgotten (and the fact I barely ever watch anime anymore), but I've heard really great things about the later episodes, so I'm guessing it's worth sticking around.

I also suggest Planetes. It's not quite like anything you say you've liked before, but it really is an awesome anime. Mature, thoughtful, great atmosphere, some comedy, blah blah blah. It seems like it's focused on the girl which might put you off, but it's largely about the main couple and the group they're in as a whole.
