Hello, I'm an independent editor and I'm searching for one or several japanese translators to finish some yaoi projects that have been dropped by scanlation groups which have disbanded and went awol.
I only have two projects but I can accept suggestions if there are proper scans and translators willing to join me:
- A Boring Man by Yamamoto Kotetsuko, only a chapter need to be translated
- Puchi Puri by Mishima Kazuhiko, four chapters to be translated
If you are interested in translating these two mangas, please answer this topic or you can contact me via livejournal, my username is the same.

Hi. I think I can try to help you a little. I took a look at "A Boring Man" and assume the only chapter that needs translating is the last chapter. I managed to find a copy of the manga online and seeing as how there's only a few pages, I can translate those for you. If it goes well, I might also help you with "Puchi Puchi", which I also grabbed a copy off the net.

For reference, I have a little experience in translating and communication with an editor. I translated a number of chapters for "Tonagura" and "Zero no Tsukaima" a few years back. If you want a sample of my work, I can send you my script. My email is dusk_kk@hotmail.com.

We don't call that a proofreader. We call them translation checkers.

Proofreaders = people who check the translation and fix the grammatic errors. Their base is English and mainly only English.

Translation checkers = They go through the translation to check if it's correct. They also add missing stuff sometimes.

I wish you all luck^^
