This seems like a bit of a silly question, but considering how she was last seen abandoned in the middle of a battle field, with her guardians blasted into the distance and her hero running off to save Orhime...something like a year ago in the manga's time, anyone know if there has been any mention of her in future plans...or should we just assume she was eaten by another hollow or something... roll eyes

Yeah....we don't know anything about Nel right now. I am hoping that she will come help Ichigo at some point (after regaining her full powers and memories), but this is Tite...he might have forgotten about her or something. Pretty sure that Grimmjow was still alive last time we saw him as well.

Who knows at this point. It's Bleach, so we all know that continuity went out the window a long time ago.

Nothing in the manga has given us any indication one way or another as far as I know. If/when Ichigo becomes a shinigami again, there will probably be some short explanation saying Hueco Mundo is empty/still dangerous and the hollows are gone/rebuilding and then speculation on whether Nel, Grimmjow and the rest are still alive will be more productive.

My guess is he'll just say they're all gone and come up with new enemies, just because I can't see another arc with hollows as the antagonists without things getting really old.

I think it's a shame, really. I mean considering those left alive in hueco mundo, Nel might as well be the queen there, meaning that there would be hardly anything stopping her from stalking Ichigo all the way to karakura town.

Nel and her sidekicks might make a "rukia and renji show up in Hueco Mundo" to help out for some reason, by the look of it thats how Kubo does things

I'm not sure about Nel, but I read somewhere that Kubo planned on bringing Grimmjow back. So, Nel probably will be back at the same time.

I mean, kubo tite has the tendency to leave things hanging. By the looks of it, highly doubtful that he will ever tie up all loose ends, I mean, there are already too many loose ends to count.

Relax, at least he didn't forget Ichigo.

He hasn't forgotten about them, he just doesn't know how to write.

What he has forgotten about though is Renji wanting to ask some questions to Urahara. Where did that plotline go? And there are a hundred similar cases like this. ,_,

...but I like Nel more than Ichigo...she's funny and interesting...Ichigo...well, he's the main character for the sake of being the main character...in terms of personality, he's actually very underdeveloped. His character development...is about his power jumps...hell, Zangetsu is more developed as a character.
