To those who have NOT read the end of this, leave now.

Just made this to complain about the ending pretty much and also to see who else wasn't a fan of the end all that much and perhaps discuss it with them. So come up with your own ending to this series.

As for myself, I'd have preferred if the princess had been twisted and evil, if the young brother had been mistaken in her character and that the older brother had been completely brain washed AND died a miserable death. That and well... Most of the entire squad had died, the princess won and had taken over the world! [maniacal laughter here] Maybe even taken the young brother as a toy! (hmmm... that's good a good idea....)

I'm not saying it'd have been a pleasant end for me (I normally don't like sad deranged endings) but I think it'd have stayed with me more, been more interesting, and also... I got near the end and all the plot twists just kind of fell flat. They felt way to random and not well... flushed out? I got to where the princess might have been evil and sat a little closer to the monitor thinking, ooh, now that's interesting.

But ya know... besides that. The author of this manga was pretty good. Looking forward to his future stuff.
