Quote from Mamsmilk Quote from Nelo_Neko Quote from skittles Quote from Mamsmilk Quote from Papermaster Hah! lol teas personal space has been violated!! It is like I would call milk water, for it contains water. D_D but bubble tea is tea! It just has fruit (powder ) mixed into it... I think.. So it's like a fruit tea. Yeah you can taste the tea in it....unless it's coffee.....lol. Some places take out the tea in it though leaving only the drink mix, so that kind has no tea taste. I can feel the liquid which is water in milk. I do not call cars moving seats. They have seats, but that clearly is not the whole thing, infact it is not it at all. <_< I can taste the salt in food and I do not call it salt. The person that named this has failed. D:< then what would you like to call it.... fruit drink? But it has tea in it! So it's fruit + tea? And it has tapioca in it! Tapioca tea is a little hard to pronounce, isn't it... Then, why not bubble tea?

I really like original milk tea. I haven't tried any other flavor except green tea and peach, and I didn't really like those flavors. I love having tapioca pearls in my drink, but the cafe I get the milk tea from adds too much pearls. Sometimes my jaw feels tired after chewing so much.

Peach ftw. My first was strawberry though. Passion fruit and milk tea is also nice.

Taro!! I hope you guys no what that is... 4/5 times when my friends see me with Taro, they'd ask "What flavour is that?" and I'd reply, "Taro." and they'd react with "What?"

Strawberry, so plain yes? I've yet to try Taro simply because I think it looks mushy but I'm having second thoughts from the positive reviews I've seen.

When I go out it's always strawberry milk tea~ <3
but recently I've started making bubble tea at home and I have this reaaally yummy "jasmine/honeysuckle/ceylon" (unsure because of the translation) green tea which is so good with tapioca... and with a touch of honey its even better...
Bubble tea at home rules xD I get my tapioca from the local supermarket...

Bubble tea makes me sad... most of it isn't even tea anymore. I live in a smaller city and the only Bubble tea available is made from instant powder. I can't say I like this type of bubble tea (always slush here...). It is too sweet and tastes like artificial flavour (mind you I do like artificial flavoured snacks sometimes – most asian snack candies )
In a less depressing and an optimistic light, I do really enjoy bubble tea made with real tea. It’s really good hot in winter and nice both iced and slush in summer. It’s not too sweet and some have strange spiced tastes (‘hibiscus spice’ for example -- I guess you could say it is my favourite). Unfortunately I have to go a larger city to have real tea bubble tea ...
