I just bought a manga that really looked to good to pass up on and the only problem is its not licensed here in the US and I only speak and read in english so is there a good way to translate the book its a japanese manga called Angel's Pheromone. Is the writing in it kanji or something else? Please help totally ignorant over here on how to go about it but really really want to read it.

The writing are kanji but on the side of kanji there are sometimes smaller characters. Those are hiragana. So if you don't know the kanji the hiragana on the side will help you read the word.

If it's Japanese, the writing will be in mainly kanji and hiragana, possibly with furigana (the small characters beside the kanji) if you're lucky, and probably with a bit of katakana here & there.
Short answer - if you don't know Japanese, it's going to be VERY difficult for you to translate this yourself. Your best bet might be to get a scanlation group interested in doing it, unless you have a friend who knows Japanese.
