What factor decides what names are shown on the friend list in Facebook?

If I'm not mistaken, it's by who you have (recently) interacted with the most.

You may be mistaken, as all of the people listed on mine are people I hardly interact with. I think it's just totally random.

I read somewhere that it was by who visits your page most frequently or something like that, but I'm not sure.

I'm 90% sure this is wrong, since mine shows people I've had added since I joined years ago.

I found the answer in 2 seconds.

Quote from Facebook
Which friends appear in the left column of my profile?
The left column of your profile may display different types of people in your life:

We highlight your friend list.
By default, a changing selection of friends always appears under the "Friends" heading in the left column of your profile. The selection includes many friends who you publicly interact with the most. Examples of public interactions include Wall posts, comments and mutually attended events — Facebook will never show friends based on whose profiles you choose to view or who you interact with over messages and chat.

You can choose custom friends to highlight.
In addition to your general list of friends, you can choose to feature specific friends (e.g., best friends, roommates or coworkers) or groups to which you belong. Learn how to do this here.

Your family and relationship partner appear here, too.
If you choose to add family members or a relationship to your profile, those people will also be featured in the left column.

I'm not sure which way you're going here - whether the recipe calls for whole milk or sweetened condensed milk - but I would not interchange them.

Sweetened condensed milk is really thick & gooey, and REALLY sweet, so the texture & flavor would not be at all the same as using whole milk.

How do you people drink floral teas?

Do you mix some sugar, milk or something else in it? Or do you just drink it straight?

I drank chamomile and jasmine tea on occasions. They worked well will sugar, though I never tried them without it. I wouldn't put milk into anything but black tea.

I drink my tea naturally, I don't use sugar or milk. At first it seems bitter but then you get used and it tastes better. Maybe its because I prefer dark chocolate (90%)

Nope, never saw/heard of anything like that in any school I attended or that my kids have attended.

There were some very unpleasant people and groups of people, but the bullying was more casual, not to the extreme.

The problem with straight substitutions is that the properties of the substitute differ from the original. This causes a problem with the chemical reactions that occur when heat is applied.

Taking whole milk and sweet condensed milk...

Whole milk has more water than condensed does... so, you would have to add water to the condensed milk. Of course, you can't add a cup of condensed milk + water when the recipe asks for a cup of whole milk that would have too much fluid.

Also, there would be more sugar in the condensed milk than required for the recipe. Therefore, you would have to decrease the amount of regular sugar normally required for the recipe.

There's probably some fat/protein elimination during the condensation process; so, that would also have to be taken into consideration.

From what I see, skim milk + half and half would be better...

However, if you must...
Use 1/2 cup condensed milk plus 1/2 cup water (for 1 cup whole milk)
And figure out how much sugar was added to the condensed milk in order to subtract that from what the recipe calls for.

I like to drink heather tea with a little heather honey. I guess I drink mostly without anything in it, but often I also use honey. To tea made of tea leaves (green, oolong, white etc.) I don't add anything in. I never really drink spiced tea, floral or otherwise, with an exception of some mixes I make myself.

I've no idea.

I have a sweet tooth, so i used to put a lot of sugar in my tea. Now, I drink it straight.. though sometimes i still add a bit of sugar.

Never happen to me, at least the extreme case part.
A few years ago, some violence cases in the school reported in my country. They made a big news. There was someone who recorded it and the video was spread.
Let me try to explain it, there is a tradition here.. which every freshman in highschool/university/academy must attend what you called 'initiation period'. It could be 3 days long (the shortest one), others may have 1 month long period.
The initiation programs varied each school, but 'normally' these programs consist of senpai/upperclassmen who shouted out loud every freshman, made the freshman doing stupid things (like delivering love letters, singing in front of the school/university gate, wearing funny accesories.. like a 'holey' hat made from plastic ball and you put your pigtail hair through the hole, and many more). It kinda funny though, but I hate making those things, they are useless. There were so much imposed tasks if they didn't want to get punished, so the new students got a little time to sleep during this period.
In the extreme cases, some schools (especially those owned by government or military) actually let the new students be kicked and punched. Not only by the upperclassmen, the teachers also did it. There were some students who got lifelong injuries because of this and they must quit their education. The rest of students who succeed their first year, got revenge by doing similar acts to their new kouhai. One case reported in the news, someone died because of the injuries.. apparently because it hit his vital organ. I heard from my mom, in her generation, someone even forced to eat a frog alive (it reported on the newspaper). Because these cases, public demands this program to be erased, but... it's hard to erase tradition you know. Some school today may or may not have this program, but they still have this at university. At least the 'normal' ones.

Hmmm... it looks like everyone really adjusts their tea, according to their tastes and likes, eh.

As for me, I've tried mixing milk with oolong tea before. Gross! smile

Btw, does anyone know what they're saying in the first panel on this page? The big, bold words, that is.

(Please be warned this manga has some ecchi and nudity, but this page is worksafe.)
