I am looking for movies with a peaceful and pastel(muted bright colors) feel. Like, watching it makes you think of clouds, or being in a wheat field, and it is peaceful and happy/bright to watch.
Some parts of Howl's Moving Castle gave me this feeling. You know, the parts that show the flower fields? Here is a picture: http://images2.fanpop.com/images/photos/8000000/Howl-s-Movi ng-Castle-studio-ghibli-8048414-720-405.jpg.
I've already watched all the studio ghibli moves though so please don't recommend them. Also, I don't care what language it is in. I can deal with subtitles
I can't explain much better, and this might just be personal preference...if you don't understand what I'm asking for, then a movie that gives the feeling of the picture link above, if that helps?

eh, maybe A Little Princess?
The Secret Garden
Tuck Everlasting...
I haven't seen those in a really long time, so I'm not sure...
Some of the scenes in Bright Star have very pastel-ish imagery like:
this
this
this is the trailer and it's a bit tragic but it's one of my all time favorite movies, especially since John Keats is one of my favorite poets. My user pic is from the movie. The director Jane Campion really knows how to deliver the atmosphere that's perfect for her movies, well, at least for the two ones I've seen, The Piano and Bright Star.
I'll post later if i think of more

Pride and Prejudice (2005) has scenes showing fields and trees, etc., and has a warm, happy vibe.

You took the first suggestion that popped into my head!! We're on the same wavelength.
Uhmm... okay... random movies that are popping into my head --
The Lion King
A Bug's Life
Finding Nemo
British period dramas adapted from novels by Jane Austen and/or Elizabeth Gaskell?
(I do recommend North and South starring Daniela Denby-Ashe and Richard Armitage... though it's more dreary and kind of sad... but some of the scenes... ESPECIALLY THE CLOSING SCENE FOR THE FIRST EPISODE <----- sorry for typing in caps! Now I want to watch it even though I should be sleeping right now!!)

LOLOLOLOL. YOU'RE TOO FUNNY! I remember wanting to watch it... but for some reason... why does it feel like the story doesn't end well for the lovers? (At least, based on the previews?)

Makoto Shinkai. Especially his more recent works.
The Place Promised in Our Early Days 5 centimeters per second
Mamoru Hosoda (who actually was a part of Ghibli before) made The Girl Who Leapt Through Time, which is a really great movie... His newer movie 'Summer War' is really colorful as well, but not really 'pastel.' It was very nice nevertheless.
Satoshi Kon (who passed away last year, RIP) made Millenium Actress It has a really nice sense of color to it, mixing bright colors with monochrome ones.
Jay Chou's The Secret had very beautiful moments. Despite his bad acting, Jay Chou is not a bad director at all...
Midnight Sun has a very interesting way of using its lighting. Great movie as well, and I really think YUI should act more.

Well... I'm not sure if you're being sarcastic or not haha so I'm just going to say that it's based on the life of John Keats who was a brilliant poet from the Romantic period in England (along with Lord Byron, the Shelleys(Mary and Percy and Wordsworth) and most people associate him and his gorgeous poetry with his romance with Fanny Brawne(a girl that lived next door to him) and his early death. In fact one of the greatest tragedies of Keats dying at a young age is what he could've accomplished had he lived past the age of 24. If you ever get the chance, read his poetry and his letters, especially to Fanny Brawne. You'll find that he was such a lovely person. From his writing alone you could tell how incredibly in love with life he was, yet juxtaposed with the anguish imposed by mortality. The actor in the movie reads out loud some of his poetry and my god... I almost fainted lol Even if you don't like the poetry from the Romantics a lot of people who don't do like some of Keats' poetry. The movie is really really well done too, it's by the same woman who directed The Piano with Holly Hunter and I like Bright Star better. It's one of my favorites now
this is part of the soundtrack but it has the actors reading some of the real letters between Fanny and Keats.
this is the actor reading out loud one of Keats' poems, and well, he's pretty hot too
